Shouldn't be in the same row as the search box, but perhaps in it's own column (or merged cells) on the left. lifemare Posted August 14, 2013 Share Posted August 14, 2013 I for one, can't use the reply box in Firefox, nothing like a good old html for cross-browsing compatibility.I'll have to run it in safemode to see if it's a conflict with FF addons...It not, this is a huge letdown to me. This might just be nostalgia, but i do think the old forum had a lot more charm and the now reduced contrast palette with all the bleach-white blurs every thing, making visually separating page elements harder. But maybe it will grown on me... it's definitely a lot more contemporary, if that's a good thing. My only other vote down is about images showing up as icons instead of full size. Breaks thread-reading continuity - you have to stop at each post to load the images on those annoying black overlays (where the image, instead of being resized to fit the window, shows up in the original size, making it impossible to visualize if it's too large). Overall i'd say it's a downgrade in terms of user-friendliness. First impressions, for what it's worth... Guess the text frame wasn't perfect selected anymore because my web browser went back two pages and I lost everything I was writing. Then I tried searching for this thread again and it took me 3 searches to find it, and each search has 20? 30? seconds before you can search again. GRAH! Edit: Also, I click on "Items I have Participated In", and it still doesn't show this thread.
