I feel so icky playing as characters with less than at least 150 hp.

With 3 night armour your effective hp is over 1500, and there's no sanity drain either.

Alternatively you can:

The animators should get paid to do less and I am NOT kidding.

The current technique they are using is the easier, cheaper one. The one you're missing is the more stylized, more time consuming one. I miss the old style too, but with how often the animations get released (alongside updates) we can't really demand the level of quality of say, Forbidden Knowledge.

I don't really know that much about animation tbh, but I know they switched methods a while back and it's pretty noticeable.

Taming Beefalos is horrible waste of time and the "reward" of having a tamed Beef doesn't justify the tedium of the process.

I can get more things done without needing to be glued to one of these ungreatful abominations.

Only thing positive i can say about Beefalos is that their flesh makes a good meal and their fur makes a good hat (among other things) - They are more useful to me dead than they are alive.

The ROT updates were mostly bad. Only Forgotten Knowledge, Reap What You Sow, Eye of the Storm were good, and everything else is either bad or about nothing. I hate the update that added the crab king and the hermit

DS ROT :

Bad take:

If you think Wortox is bad, then you are bad at abusing his mechanics and reaching his true potential.
If you think Wortox is good, then you are bad at kiting and use his 400-1200 stored healing.

Wortox is an anomaly, but he is cute.

People complain alot about beefalo's being long, tedious and a waste of time. But, they don't realise you can do other things while taming the beefalo at the same time and benifit alot from them. Use them as a weapon and armour, use them as a huge speed boost, transport shadow pieces. Those are large resource saves.

Alot of folk are in the mindset that a beefalo is useless unless it is fully domesticated, but untamed beefalo in progress of taming still fill all the benifits you want from a fully tamed beefalo, just a little worse in some cases, and some a little better. Even 20% domestication is useful, and they can protect you from some mobs super early game where you have no saddles if one were to aggro onto it.

In addition to the possible improvements already mentioned for the Crab King fight, I want to add something that may be a bit controversial: the gems dropped by the dragonfly should be dropped by the Crab King instead, it's a boss that makes much more sense to drop GEMS. DF loot would be OK dropping just red gems and the rest of the loot. Besides, he has the worst loot in the game, which should improve a lot, especially to make us kill him more often.

The only reason i fight d-fly is to get more gems before ruins. Scale is very good too but you don't touch a mans gems.

Remove the word instead and it is an ok change.

Here is quite a hot take, the potion station in the hallowed nights should be implemented into the base game, and be expanded on.

Potions are the kind of magic this game feels like it is missing. The current ones provide niche effect... maybe make the phobic one should make sainity auras drain for less since it is useless outside of hallowed nights, and make the fire experiment make fires drain slower while it is active since it is just a funny party experiment. New potions can be added too.

It would take away from hallowed knights, though they could fill the hole by adding more mechanics since it is already sparse. More new Potions with unique effects would really spice the game up.

It's all fun and games untill Wilson gives you an iridescent gem right after defeating Dfly.

Cosmetic furniture being locked to ruins is as good as clean sweeper costing living logs again. Are you trying to sell skins or not?

The reasons people give for it are even more obscure. What is the appeal of making it so specific so casual and new players can't get? If they want to make a wooden chair, let them. Don't force them to try play sub-optimaly by taking away simple and fun decoration. If wasting resources on decortions was a problem for newbies, public servers would be filled with turfed floor, signs, wardrobes, ect. But, that is not a problem either. If they are having fun decorating (which is what is being gatekeeped here), then they are enjoying the game.

They should make it purchasable for bottles instead, it is much more logical aswell.

Anyone else think Wilson gem transmutations should be lowered to two gems?

It's an off topic thing but for me the answer is a big yes. But this topic deserves it's own discussion. So maybe next time my friend.:encouragement:

that is one of the problems behind the design of skill trees being unlock forever... it won't matter that much if you needed to unlock the perk for each world you start

I dont see how the gem prices have anything to do with that.
