I feel like we've strayed further and further from our fur-covered imp friend, and dwelled towards a more gargoyley-like demon style. I don't think it looks very good, either. The last "good" skins we got for Wortox were the dragonic, verdant and snowfallen skins. The no-eyed deer one is meh, and it's just been downhill from there. I know it seems like I'm only hating on three skins, but Wortox almost never gets any skins, in general, so that's a big deal. I'm extremely disappointed with the new pirate skin, as well. The side-profile is especially awful. Anyone else agree? I want our old imp boy back. That feedback sounds a bit more ungrateful than constructive, don't you think? Furthermore, giving Wortox more "fluffy" or "deer-like" skins takes away from the original intention of the game (if you remember it was originally advertised as an Uncompromising Survival Game!). Wortox's new skins reflect that in their terrible beautiful appearance, making them one of the only anchors DST has to its origins! Honestly, Pretzel. I expected better of you. Since Victorian [which Im still in a mixed feeling mood] I didnt take any skins [except for Verdant] and hes my absolute favorite character. Like for me this skin gives more a punk vibe than pirate. And no horns. Sometimes it may not always work But this has happened to Wurt a lot as she generally just turns into a different aquatic creature where its barely enough to recognize its her. This is the same deal with Wortox. And i'm not saying that as a bad thing, the non-human characters can bring out a lot more creativity due to their themes and design. None of the other Wortox skins are Imp related either, they're mythic creatures usually. Dragons, Minotaurs, goblins, gargoyles, fauns. Not every skin is gonna be somebody's cup of tea but it was only a matter of time until they *really* try and change up Wortox's general look with skins and i hope we see more of these concepts in the future. IMO the new skin rocks even if the side-view is slightly strange. Wait a min was this thread necroed... Wurt skins have so much diversity and stand out the most - i actually did this myself here: I actually at the time started on doing the same for Wortox but i didnt finish - i guess ill post it cause i dont really plan on finishing any time soon Wortox skins have a lot of potential too imo, and I quite like the new pirate skin he got.
