Trying to find out all the things you can mutate using the new Lunar Experiment

With the halloween update Klei added to the Mad Scientist Lab "Lunar Experiment" which gives you steeped lunar essence.Now using this essence allows you to mutate entities from the normal constant into lune island plants/animals.

So far I've found out you can turn: Carrots into Carrat

                                                       Flowers into Lune trees

                                                       Saplings into Lune island saplings

                                                       Butterflies into Moths

                                                       Dragon fruits into Salamanders

                                                       Hounds into Horror hounds

                                                       Pengulls into Moonrock pengulls

                                                       Spiders into Shattered spiders

and that's it for now, if someone else manages to find what turns into Anenemy or Stone fruit bushes I would be very interested in what that is. So far I've tried turning tooth traps, bramble traps(the one wormwood makes),bee mines, bird traps and normal traps into the Anenemy and for the Stone fruit bushes I tried normal bushes, the tropical variant of the berry bushes, banana trees and juicy berries.

Lune island saplings them self are not immune to disease I believe, but this one might have the wild property due to the way it is created, allowing you to plant saplings and then make them all immune to disease.  Of course it might not give the sapling the wild tag I'm which case it wouldn't work.

I hope so, shattered spiders look like they could be useful allies for Webber. If it's not a bug, at least let spiders onto boats so that we can bring them back to base and probably murder all other non-Webbers.

You can already get shattered spiders on the mainland, they just teleport with you if you befriend them as webber. They however will teleport back to their nest after a while if you try and pen them.So maybe with this new experiment if you use it on a normal spider it won't despawn.

Oh, cool! I haven't played much recently and almost never am the one to raid the lunar island for stuff, so I haven't tested really at all with shattered spiders. This will be useful information potentially the next time I play.

well, I tried looking into the files to see if I could find the functions that caused the mutation. However, it seems that said function is packaged with the prefab that is to be mutated. So while there is a chance that it's just me not knowing what I'm doing, it looks like you'd have to look through every prefab inorder to find what mutates into what.

Yep. just checked, it's tied to the prefabs.

Also transforming a normal-planted flower turns it into a moon tree sapling - as in the actual tree, not the sapling.

I did a search for "halloweenmutable", and here are the results.

Basically, this confims the 8 mutations that @omegad23 mentioned, but otherwise it doesn't seem like there is any more.

I've been trying this out, and it seems the saplings revert back to the regular form after some time. Not sure yet if this still makes them disease-free.

I noticed that too, you throw the potion and they transform, but after closing and opening the server they come back to normal. I think it might be a bug.

I love how morbid the fact is from how a shattered den is literally a spider queen incased open with holes, and even more unsettling is the fact that it might even be alive due to the fact it twitches sometimes. Yet here we are asking to give us the ability to cause their suffering. (In all seriousness though, yeah that should totally be a thing!
