Can the birdcage curtain be closed?

Interesting, I didn't think about this before, it is technically possible

I have a little clues:

1. panflute/sleep dart and boat

2. become jesus on the sea ( if only this is still working )

3. unintended miscalculation of spawning on land biome

Im pretty sure you drown when your character is above open water, similar to SW.

While we're on bird mechanics, I remember there being tiny versions of manure you could get from birds. I can't remember what they had to be fed to make that happen. It might have even been a DS thing. Anyone know?

Feed "le birb" plenty of normal seeds.

You can catch puffins if you place birdtrap really close to water with seeds in it. Boats are not needed for that.

Not in the normal game, no. As others have said could've been a mod, perhaps.

Yes, if they're stunned and you're close enough to them on land or a boat you can pick them up.
Or just put a bird trap on a boat.
Or a bird trap on the land border, they'll rarely land there too.

At this point copying everyone's messages but yeah this has been changed. God mode on the water still works though without drowning you.

It's was purely aesthetic, but something I loved. I haven't done it recently but it legit just happens when you feed them anything from what I recall. If they don't do it anymore I can only assume it was removed or is currently bugged. Cute little feature.

they can't be stunned on ocean and pick it up, maybe this is just a bug

however there is one method to spawn and pick stunned puffin on ocean

you probably won't do that anyway and impossible to do it without second player
