The eyeplants that the lureplant makes will attack tentacles,but the tentacles are unable to attack back. Free tentacle kills and a(nother) use for lureplants get! Also when building a base try to make it near the ocean, as hounds and sometimes the deerclops will spawn out in it, and die instantly. You can run over tentacles with a walking cane without getting hit ever. doombuggy Posted June 17, 2013 Share Posted June 17, 2013 If you are early in the game and unlucky enough to get a tree guardian chasing you, but are near some mechanical bishops, run past the bishops and and wait a few minutes. the guardian will die fairly quickly, and as long as you're not on the checkerboard the bishops lose aggro quickly. (very situational, I know). And at first was like More annoying is when you realize that spiders can attack walls and break stone walls. Actually one can break one section per night... Hooow?! With it's nonexistant teeth or just humping the wall till it breaks lolMy tips: Don't put spiderhat in pig village or near pigs unless you want them to attack you. Use spiderhat in swamps where you can lead a spider army against tentacles/merms. Other spider queens will see through that and still attack you if go near them. The hat has a sanity drain on you but nothing serious.Put a berry on the ground before you start to harvest your bushes. It's best if the bushes are apart and not that close. When the gobbler appears he'll run away but if the berry is not that far from him he'll come back slowly towards it. Then you can just smack him before he grabs as he will be hypnotized by the fruit. He will not run away if he spotted the berry. Very easy way to hunt for gobblers. I think you can bait him with rot also but that was several updates ago and I haven't tried it now. Warden Posted June 17, 2013 Share Posted June 17, 2013 Even though werepigs kite they still prefer edible stuff on the ground over attacking you.Use this to your advantage and you can kill them without being hit.You got to hit the werepig when it starts eating but before it has eaten the food on the ground,it can be tricky and you may still get hit, but it's worth it,he won't kite you I usually feed them all four pieces of monster meat and attack them while they are preoccupied transforming. By the time they're finished transforming, you've only got to smack him 1 or 2 times.
