suicide commando
Right... I'm sure this can be datamined, but I've been looking at the various planets that can spawn up in the sky and what kind of useful things we can get from them now. So far, these are the ones I've found: Oily Asteroid: Petroleum, CO2, Crude oil, Methane. ( I think this one should also have slicksters ) Living Planet: Oxygen, Aluminum Ore, Pips, Arbor Acorns Chlorine Asteroid: Chlorine, Bleach Stone ( Maybe add Squeaky Pufts to this one ) Oxydized Planetoid: Rust, CO2. Gilded Asteroid: Gold, Fullerene, Pyrite Helium Giant: Hydrogen, Water, Niobium Red Dwarf: Aluminum, Methane, Fossil Anyone found any others? So far, it seems while not guaranteed, the oily one is pretty common. While the chlorine, oxydized and gilded seem rather rare. I think we could do with a higher density of planets up there now as there's more planets that can spawn. I've quite often seen large gaps of nothingness there. suicide commando
Pyrite is a 'variation' on gold amalgam. You can refine it to gold. IRL it's also called fools' gold, and is made of iron and sulphur I believe.

suicide commando
Gobo, the living planet does have lumber. it has arbor acorns, which grow into trees As for the oxydized planet.. well, since all of the iron is oxydized ( hence oxydized planet ), there's none left. The former works, but the latter is so much more satisfying.

You'd then also have to include Slime, Algae, P-H2O, and P-O2 to satisfy the ecosystem where the Puft Prince could survive, as well as add regular Pufts to actually produce the Puft Prince in the first place. Not to mention there'd be some random Dense Pufts that starve to death with no O2 to eat. Really, really, really hope that Pufts get a rework before launch, because they are both problematic and unimpressive in their functionality. cpy
Since automating rockets is pain, can we get big nuclear engine and large cargo? Like 10t or something?

The way my ranch is set up the Puft prince doesn't need to eat and Squeeky/Dense Pufts guarantee both their and Prince's eggs. 9 hours ago, PhailRaptor said: Really, really, really hope that Pufts get a rework before launch, because they are both problematic and unimpressive in their functionality. I wholly disagree with that. If you've failed ranching them, how about you ask how it can be done successfully?

Yes, that's also what happens to the Princes, they are doomed to be short-lived, ever starving, even though it is their noble existence which keeps the species alive~ Seriously, Puft need a re-balance but grasping for straws ain't helpin' the issue. And in the first place, dead Pufts actually nourish the living ones. Their meat becomes a rotten pile, rotten dirt and ultimately polluted oxygen. This includes their excretions as well so the planet may actually have those but in such a limited quantity that the dupes think: "Even if I find poop there, that ain't what I'm taking with me".
