Let's name the Don't Starve world!

Hey guys I was thinking that the world of Don't Starve needs a name. Maxwell leaves Wilson there knowing full well that he will eventually die so surely we should name this dangerous and strange place? I was thinking that, given all the characters' names start with a W the world should follow suit?

I personally couldn't think of a great name that started with a W. But seeing as this could potentially be Maxwell's creation I thought it could start with an M?

My submission would be Macabria. Obviously named after the word Macabre, which I feel best describes the game and world atmosphere.

What do you think of Macabria? What are your own suggestions? Should we even be attempting to name the Don't Starve world? Please share your thoughts!

There was a poll awhile back and the most common answer was "the island". Pretty plain though.

I don't mind just calling it the island, it seems perfectly fine and trying to come up with anything else, well nothing really suits it.

and it adds a bit of a mysterious factor to it because it makes you wonder whether it had a name in the past.
