Korlie Posted March 22, 2018 Share Posted March 22, 2018 The puzzles are typically for announcements to big new things. and since the main two things going on have already been announced it likely won't happen until both Hamlet and the next event have passed. Ironic that the last puzzle was more significant because of the lore it presented as opposed to the actual content announcement it led to. Metheus gave the generic date which Winona was eventually released on, and a video hinting to Winona's arrival. Â And they seem to be using the events for lore drops now so unless they plan to make a puzzle explaining some lore in anticipation for the next event. Zeklo Posted March 22, 2018 Share Posted March 22, 2018 What we need lore-wise currently is what happened to Charlie & Maxwell leading up to him being on the throne and her becoming the shadow monster. Plus the new lore that's occuring: The resolution to why Charlie is sending the characters to these worlds and what she plans on doing with the energy collected from it. Understanding how she became the shadow monster can add to, if not explain, her current motives so it would make for a good reveal. I believe its very possible this piece of lore will reveal that Metheus is Charlie's shadow half (at least prior to merging)-Metheus being the Ancient Queen. That's the way I see it currently, but who knows for sure. I think any lore drops like this from a puzzle is still a ways off. There are still events to be had! We could have just been too blind to see. There could be 10 unlockable secret characters in the game that we haven't found. Contemplate that for a second. Yes, that would be very difficult to pull off, especially considering all the hard working data detectives and data miners this community has. I still like to believe that there are secret tidbits in DST that nobody has found yet. Like that person who discovered a candid visual cue in an popular video game 29 years after its release, haha.
