What to do with Meat/Eggs as a Vegetarian character?

Recommended Posts

You can use eggs as filler in jam, dragonpie, pumpkin cookies, taffy, ratatouille and butter muffins in the unlikely scenario that you're simultaneously running low on berries, ice and twigs.

You can also use eggs to turn trail mix into jam and flower salad into ratatouille, not that it'd be a good idea.  Or make any sense.

Also, waffles.

You could give them to your local Wigfrid?

;)

Seriously though...I've been kinda wondering this too.  I've also got a mod character who is a vegetarian (Winnie!) and it is SO HARD to keep her fed properly.  Especially in winter, omg.

Transforming pig in werepig with monster meat for pig skin.

Using meat as a lure for some monster ? You can trap spider so why not trap with meat if you want to be sure to attract the spider (not needed but quicker than an empty trap)

Wouldn't a vegetarian character starve in winter due to the virtual non existence of vegetables?

Depends on what character mod he's using. Maybe the character in question has some way to get veggies in winter. (assuming he's using a character mod to begin with.)

That was indeed a problem with Winnie.  Kitty can attest to this--she's the one this happened to.  Like, at one point I went off in the winter forest to look for...something, and exchanges like this happened:

ME:  Oh by the way, I found a birch nut!  I picked it up for you.

KITTY:  OMGGIMMEILOVEBIRCHNUTS.

Seriously, it was down to not-_quite_-actually-rot-yet seeds, by the end of the winter.  It got nasty.  Being a vegetarian by choice is one thing. Being physically _stopped_ whenever you try to eat meat by the game code is something else!

(Why would you be Winnie, then? Well, for one thing, as a farm girl she can grow crops quicker than normal.  _Way_ quicker.  Winnie + advanced farms + spring rain basically  = not...enough...fridge!  Also the ewelo things that come with her will fight hounds for you.  And are delicious.)
