Theory: Possible interaction with the Marble Rhino

So... I don't know if you noticed, but the horn for the Marble Sculture is missing

Maybe you can get your own rhino warrior or a miniboss if you give the horn from the ancient guardian to these statues??

In the case that we do actually get our own Marble Guardian, this would be soooo cool...

What do you think?

I don't know, but i know that the marble rook lacks eyes, and what can you craft in ANR ? Moonlens. Is it related ? We'll see. (And maybe it will see too)

As long as its more useful than the ruins' allied clockworks, count me in.

You are right.. but...maybe... you have to craft eyes and give it the horn to get you very own Marble Rhino Warrior..  and following @Arlesienne's idea... I would be great if you could ride it... Like a Beefalo :)

Thank you. Hopefully it would not be plagued by the issue with broken clockworks turning hostile if you re-enter a game.

I hope the marble will be renewable now (Screw the earthquake)

I don't mean to act like a certain someone but, what is marble good for? Other than the marble suit which the only reason I see someone crafting is because they have very bad ping and the floor is quite abundant without having to make it so.

if anything if they are trying to make marble renewable I think they lost their marbles.

Who wants to ride the Bull Rhino?

Edit:I would love if the marble rook could be ridden, but I feel if that were the chase then they would be slower and possibly have a charge attack and do less damage than a tamed beefalo, seeing as to how that's way easier than taming a beefalo...unless they made it way more difficult to tame the marble rook then yeah sounds like a great idea!

not against the idea btw. c:

Can you imagine how UNCOMFORTABLE it would be to ride something made out of _marble_?  It'd be like, every tiny little bump in the landscape, "Ow.  Ow.  Ow.  OW!  Ow.  Ow.  Ow." all day long.  : P  I don't know about you, but _I_ ain't doin' that without a majorly padded saddle.  Ouch.

And hey, at least this'd make marble have another use...?

Marble is good for Checkered Flooring, aka it looks very nice. Generally though you'd prefer not getting it from statues and such(they look nice and are unrenewable, better keep em, especially with marble being renewable), so having an extra source of them could be nice.

(also if they do less damage than a tamed beefalo they might not do any damage, as Tamed Beefs' damage isnt too great)

Am I the only one who uses the Marble Suit?

*pats* you poor, poor, person.

*slides in the thulecite suit* shhhhhhhh bby no pain

Am I the only person who plays the game to the FULLY maximum?!

I use beemines, marble suit, Thermal Measurer, Rainometer, Morning Star, Gunpowder, Grass Suit, Potted Fern (looks good around my base).

It saddens me the fact that everyone takes the game, the survival so seriously and doesn't try to ENJOY playing the game to the maximum and use ALL of the things that Don't Starve can offer.

Nah, I just never find a "why". I make the rainometer and Thermal Measurer eventually, and the ferns because they're pretty. Gunpowder is not useless at all, Beemines i never really use, morning star many people do use to overcharge goats for milk. Grass Suit is I guess ok but I always found log suit to be so cheap it's always my first priority.

I'd like to...in my case a lot of it is "never happen to get around to". I'm so busy exploring/gathering the stuff for the things I KNOW I'll need that I really don't have time to get around to some of the less necessary stuff.

That said, I do pitchfork up the ground at touchstones and clockwork areas for pure decoration purposes at my camp, all the time, I do sometimes MAKE gunpowder and then forget I have it, and I often make the thermal measurer.  Especially 'cos lately I've been playing with random season-lengths and I DON'T want to use Combined Status and just magically know everything, so....knowing whether or not the temperature is starting to go up/down is genuinely helpful.

As for the grass suit...well, I did just recently do a challenge where that's pretty much the only armour you're gonna get, so...

I am pretty excited for the map. I like to run around the entire map in 5-6 days as Werebeaver Woodie, and that will be extremely useful. Especially the inside of the caves too.

(Klei pls gib Explorer Woodie skins)

Also Marble clockworks would be pretty interesting.
