I'm not complaining or anything, I'm just curious. Is there some technical reason behind it, or is it just so they don't "ruin the magic" of skins, and keep them a bit more rare? There are people who would leave their computers for a whole week with the game open, standing in one place with godmode enabled. And they'd be getting new skins all the time. You can't really make a 100% sure check for the drop system in DST. The game can be heavily modded, so there's only so much that you can do. Klei could block getting drops if mods are enabled and console was being used, OR you could only get drops on official servers... But that won't happen.
