Nothing is better than that program. It's both accessible, powerful and not stupidly overpriced like Photoshop. Even better, it's free.

Oh and it doesn't try to give you malware if you don't pay attention to the installer *cough* GIMP *cough*

I know how you feel. You may also be able to use paint Tool SAI for editing   but I think you have to pay for the full version :/ or download it illegally *cough*

I only use MSPaint to produce the dankest maymays.

Paint.net is pretty good though.

I use paintdotnet on my 2006 pc while firealpaca on my 2012 mac laptop. I prefer using my old computer for my finer works while firealpaca doesn't have all the features, I can quickly slap some fun memes and undercolor art.

It's pretty great living in a city that shares a protagonist's name. So exploitable~
