Wonder if they will ever make a new one last thing i heard is that SNK actually wants to get back into making proper games instead of Mobil Games and Pachinko Machines.

Yes! Oh man, I remember playing Metal Slug on emulators as a kid. With blood censored as water...ahah. I've been a fan of the franchise from my childhood

The art is so good! :D

I sure hope they'll make a new one in the future. But only if it sticks to the pixel art style (without trying something new like idk 3D or something)

Well good thing that i can't draw for s**t as well as having no intentions on doing any drawing tbh.

In general i can't draw for the life of my what also resulted in me being absolutely Trash at any Artclass in School (you know when Artclass was a mandatory subject). And this doesn't mean i'm not creative cause i can be creative but not in the handdrawn/PC drawn.

Well i guess i go back and tinker around on my Factories in Factorio or do some more stuff in SpaceChem that's where my creativity spikes give me a simple problem give me a handfull of tools at my disposal to solve it and suddenly you get my Gears grinding and i will start to tinker around on a solution to the problem. Or I go full Bonkers and make silly Goldberg Contraptions that just do something stupid at the end.

A prime example on how i can be creative it's not pretty but it gets the job done. Also it's bloody fun to mow down a batch of Soldiers with that thing.

I can't tell if that's hilarious or awful.

It's one of those situations where you chuckle and then go "Oh poor thing" while you're still smiling, so that you're expressing both sympathy and a sense of humor.

If that made any sense.

Ok, who was the person on here that didn't know what to draw? I know this person is in the roleplay thread: The Gloom Becons (Revival) cos when I saw his post, I suggested to draw his OC. Well now I got a couple new ideas for anyone who doesn't know what to draw right now (bear in mind, they're both Don't Starve related).

And DST still has a measly 51 hours -_-

Still more then my 5.

But to be fair most of my pals i want to play DST with have no time atm and playing alone well that's what the Singplayer component is for.

Although currently i'm playing something else so i guess it will sit at those 105 Hours for now. Although i got a slight itch on playing Woodie again haven't played him in a long time and his DST version is massive levels of awefull compared to regular Woodie.

Just found this cool lizard pic and figured I'd share it because it looks like a tiny dragon.

Looks like an armadillo lizard. I know this because there's a really cute image showing their name's origin:

Sadly, the pet industry has driven their kind to the edge of extinction.

How? You'd think that if you wanted to sell them for pets one of the top priorities would be, yah know, making sure they don't go extinct so you can keep selling them.

Oh dear, you are a bit behind on business studies. Let me help you:

option 1: invest half your assets into sustainability (of whatever definition) and make half the profit

option 2: invest all your assets into even more profit

Any reasonable for-profit company would go for option 2, right?

In the case of a single company, the internal communication and coordination is (hopefully) very well developed and the "head" can be smart enough to sustain the company.

But in the case of many small businesses trying to make ends meet with what little is available in their area, having to compete with big industries, the so-called Tragedy of the Commons takes effect. (Besides, there's this notion towards creating artificial rivalry within businesses to boost performance, which can cause a similiar effect.)

This leads us to the concept of expansion, but that's a sad truth story for another day...

EDIT: No... I mean, yes, you are seeing the whole picture, but my point is that not everybody does.

I guess businesses aren't very good at thinking long term then. I mean, say if you invest all your assets into profit without concern for preservation, and then one year later you run out of lizards to sell, so no more profit.

On the other hand, if you were to instead invest half of your assets into profit and the other half into conservation it would take you two years to make the same amount of profit, but there's are still lizards left to sell. Then you can go on for four years, or eight years, or twenty years, and in the long term you make more profit and everyone gets to have a tiny dragon in their pocket while licking lollipops under a double rainbow.

Maybe I'm not seeing the whole picture here, but the second option seems like a better one to me.

The problem is, most businesses aren't very good at thinking ahead; it's more of a "How can I expand and make money the fastest right now" mentality.
