Slowly, he began to brush the shadowy creature off, but in a manner that was almost...gentle. His grip on Kate began loosening before he let go of her entirely, dropping her body onto the sand. Battal Posted March 31, 2016 Share Posted March 31, 2016 When the screaming starts, Meritursas freezes up. The others were in trouble again, but this time it didn't sound like unnecessary drama. And of course they were on the other side of the island. He quickly pushes himself off the ground with his free claw, shifting his body weight in midair to turn and plunge into the water (taking an unfortunate Syndir with him.) Mark hoped that person would be okay, being submerged in the water with the sea monster and all that... Mark thought about about going with Viridis to check out the new screams, but y'know what else he thought about? The itch. That annoying, ever-present itch... maybe... maybe if he only scratched his arm a little bit... maybe nothing would happen, yeah... And that's what he did. He started to scratch his left arm, and it felt so good! Though the longer he stays in the water, the faster his transformation happens and the longer he'll remain in it.)
