Dey 4 - Maxwell (+2 shadows)

I was sailing like a starfish when I found an empty raft with a couple of things in the waterz. So I picked 'em up and jump -CRASHHHH-

Quite not ahahah love this game. Love you devs.

EDIT:

Ok so I loaded the game and went back to the crime scene.

I waited some seconds to make a screenshot and my two shadows expired and went up in the sky just few moments after the screenshot. So I thought it could have been that I jumped on the raft at the same time they were disappearing. So I picked up the two thing in the water and saved. After re-loading the game to try to jump on the raft it didn't start but crashed.

Just ran into my first bug

What happened:

-Played as Willow

-Was on a bamboo raft

-Equipped lighter

-Unequipped lighter and equipped Machete(maybe an axe)

-Flame stayed there, even after 10 days flame is there, giving light.

Screenshot shows the flame next to Willow, the flame will follow the hand as if she was holding her lighter(so if i use an axe the flame moves with the axe).

Day 3,

When using a torch on a raft, you only hold the torch up when the raft is not moving. If you tap any direction, the torch goes out and doesn't come back on, so say hello to charlie.

I'm pretty sure this is intentional. On the higher tier boats you can equip boat torches/lanterns or hold torches if your boat has a sail. Kinda hard to simultaneously hold a torch and row a boat.

I agree with you, but let me explain. If you tap any direction with the torch on (and on a raft), the light goes out, the raft doesn't move (or barely), and the torch sometimes doesn't come back on in a moment. I believe the bug is: an equipped torch is not always used when the raft is stationary.

Can confirm. Sometimes you have to reequip the torch to work and sometimes it gets taken out automatically.

Whales do not keep bloating when too far away (15 days, still in bloating stage 1) (there were issues like this with spider dens + bee boxes in the original game. That had been taken care of).

I am not sure about the progress of far away mussel sticks. Would be cool if someone could say something to that.

Here's some things I've noticed. Most of them involve the crockpot.

 - the crockpot instant spoilage bug from early builds of RoG has returned.

 - fish morsels don't count as meat, even though live crabs do.

 - dried seaweed doesn't count as seaweed for the california rolls. (major logic error, as the dried stuff is specifically what you use for sushi in real life.)

A few cosmetic issues I forgot from my previous post.
 - the sushi is labelled california rolls, but looks like regular makizushi. (in california rolls the seaweed is on the inside.) I'd recommend changing the name to just "sushi".
 - bioluminescence doesn't have an examination quote.

I've used Wolfgang to play and I don't know why but during the heavy winds and rain season het got pretty wet and could not dry even under umbrella and next to the fire. I had to save and quit the game and get back on to fix the bug.

It did that quiet a lot till I died of madness and poison... :D Love the new mechanics but getting anti-venom or snake oil while getting hurt by poison is pretty hard... There should be some product that slow the effect of the poison.

The umbrella (when placed on the ground) gets blown away by the wind, while other crafted objects like hats don't.

If this is intentional I'd like to suggest changing it to behave like hats, because I like to leave that stuff lying around my base when not in use

I think that's intentional. Something about the itens' weight I think... Some will be blown by the wind, others won't. Or at least that's the explanation I gave to myself when a stack of twigs I placed next to a touchstone was carried by the wind but not the flint.

Interesting though, the wind is strong enough to take down trees and boar houses, but not a single rock.

Well realistically - not that I expect the game to actually model it down to such detail - it depends on the ratio of mass and profile. A leafy tree or flimsy boar house catches more wind relative to its mass than a rock.

Item disappearing glitch:

I find that sometimes items in character inventory will disappear when you left click on it.

E.g 1: Play as wendy, use a bloomerang to hit a bird will knock it down. Pick the bird up and it goes into your inventory. Then left click on the bird (say to put it into a bird cage). The bird will go disappear.

E.g 2: Equip a boat(any) with a sail(any), then equip either a trawl net or another sail, the first sail you've just equiped will be discarded.

2-  During hurricanes season, some trees seem to get uprooted by the wind (there's a cracking sound like a tree falling down and logs on the floor) however the sprite of the tree is still there but I can't chop it

Same here. You can use a shovel to dig up the "tree", or quit and enter the game which will fix the issue.

So made it to my second winter, finally have a nice base stonewalled off, something like 400 rocks worth of top tier walls.  The first hail started, and I thought it was an interesting idea for hail damaging walls a small amount when they land on it.
But suddenly my walls started disapearing... And I realized, the wind was pushing pieces of hail into my walls and continuously damaging them.
I watched in horror as a two pieces of hail slid down along a wall, repeatedly damaging each piece, and completely shredding a whole side of my base in seconds.

Like I said, I like the idea of hail falling on walls being an issue, but it can't possibly be by design that a few pieces of hail will wreck everything in high winds.  I'm already sad that summer forces me to stay away from my home to keep it safe for 20 days out of the year, please don't send me out on the run for another whole season. :frown-new:

That still doesn't explain why my 298743 Straw Hats lying on the ground don't get blown away :D. You'd think they were a lot lighter and likelier to catch wind than a closed pigskin umbrella.

(I'll scurry off now so as to not derail the topic any further ->)
