Gingerbread Posted July 14, 2015 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Well let me explain my situation. I am banned from a dedicated server named "Abusement Park" like maybe a month ago. That server is a really populated one and I want to join but since banning from servers is a perma ban I am unable to do so.Ofcourse there is a reason why I am banned I am not going to say that I had no fault in this situation. I joined up to Abusement Park as Webber and when I joined, it was winter. There was a small camp that I finally managed to find but the problem was with the pig houses. Since there was 3-4 pig houses nearby the camp and pigs started attacking me next morning. I was running around camp with no axe, armor and weapon. I was only having grass and twigs. There was a lot of people in the camp and they were not helping me to get rid of pigs and I had no time to use chat window since pigs were after me and I was unable to leave camp fire cuz it was winter. There was a lot of trees close to camp and I set the trees on fire to force pigs to get fire damage but unluckily fire started to spread and all camp is burned in a minute. and rightfully everybody thought I am a troll to set everything on fire. After a minute or so I was banned and now unable to connect to that server. I would be thankful if somebody can provide me the contact info of the admins of that server. Thanks. You can try to add the admin on Steam but if he doesn't want to see your face anymore, there is nothing you can do about that. Your Steam name is the same as your ingame name if I remember correctly. Now I saw on a new dedicated server that ghosts burned the whole base down on purpose but nobody was there to ban them. I was on another server to play and i was banned cuz i defended myself against pigs.. If anybody who can check or learn who the admin is and can let me know I would be appreciated. Webber can actually be a very good character should you set everything up right. The fact you call him bad shows others you don't what you're talking about. I may have worded what I meant wrong. My server's been up for a looooooong time now, and out of 10 Webbers that join, 10 of them suck. Yeah, that's a nice 100% failure rate you have there. Sure, maybe YOU don't suck, but since 100% (not 80%, not 90%, not 95%. 100% of them) of the Webbers I've encountered, suck, I won't take any chances from now on. I personally don't like webber players as they sometimes tame spiders that start attacking me, but they're really easy to deal midgame and on. There's some somewhat decent Webber players, you just need to keep them away from pigs, and he's a helpful team player with being able to farm spider loot easier and his high base HP meaning he can take more hits. But seriously, why are you being so mean? We here at the forums like to remain friendly, with some certain rude-ish people we don't like bring up. You realize that the floodgates have a long way to go to being finished, right? Saying Webber is a Noob Character is completely inaccurate, as he is a new character to the public even today. For me dying is too hard in DST. You can manage sanity, hp and hunger on your own in wilderness without any base in winter.. I could leave the base with a torch burning down trees to warm up but the thing is the base was in savannah and there was no trees or grasses (grasses nearby were all collected) around and my hp was very low as if I take a bit of cold damage I would be dead. I did not die in that server too but I was banned. There were people in the base with helmet and spear and they did not help me, they put pig houses nearby and I am the idiot? Surely this guy has no idea how to play dont starve. I am not a webber fan but for those who claims webber is for noobs is a noob himself. Real noobs are those who sets up a base and then puts a lot of pig houses beneath camp fire. He is noob because he has no idea a webber may wanna join (unless he does not intentionally put them to keep webbers away). It is like a webber to make a base with full of spider dens surrounding it and then inviting a wigfrid char to the base. And the useless comment who is not here to help me contact to them "I would not accept you" XD. Then I am sorry but I have to remind you that you are nothing to that server that I am trying to contact to. Look I did not ask your decision to the situation. I am here to ask, how I can contact to them because my aim is to contact them and let them know, let them judge and reach to a conclusion instead of you. It is like I wanna go to for instance Japan, and asking you how to go, which airline to take, most budget airline etc. but you are talking about what to do in Japan, instead go to Italy. Really that does not make any sense. I am here to ask how I can contact them. Like if you know how you can provide the contact adress and then make a comment, I would be appreciated, but you are only here to make comment that does not related to my purpose of opening this thread. Sure, he made a rookie mistake and burnt down the base, but hey it happens.
