22winston Posted April 25, 2014 Share Posted April 25, 2014 If your considering making a base Wilson If you consider just traveling everywhere i would say either Willow Or WX-78 Willow cause she has a lighter just hold it at night and you wont you know die its bright enough, WX-78 He doesnt mind rotten food in case you stock up while traveling you dont have to worry. Just what I though when I saw the hundreds of votes he was getting. I'm feeling a bit Webber or WX-78ish. I haven't played webber much since he was buffed, and I rarely play WX-78. Hmm. Hmm. In that case, Webber (I personally voted for him) will offer you a decent challenge throughout the game and you will need to adapt your playstyle. Exploring caves with him is fun and somewhat challenging, as you run on 100 sanity and if you happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, you could well see 15 bunnymens rush out of their house (at dusk) with only one thought: murder the monster! WX will provide some challenge early game, especially during a spring start. However, you will never have the feeling that anything can kill you once you start upgrading. You can facetank a lot of monsters and bosses just by wearing a marble suit and a good weapon. Warden Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 I voted for Wilson since he's the one I mainly stick to playing as. While playing as a certain character may help, how well you play as that character will determine how long you will survive. If you're not good at playing as WX for instance while he's at his weakest, he may never become overpowered since he'll be dead long before he reaches that point. Just play the character you're best at or like the most is all I can suggest.
