bdiz4shiz
Remember back in the day when space-bar would perform an attack when you had a weapon equipped. and does anyone experience extreme frustration when fighting in a dense forest only to continuously accidentally click on a tree instead of the creature you are attacking? Vote and let our voices be heard! P.S.also I've tried playing with control settings, with no success Please disregard this post, somehow i missed the transition from spacebar to assigned key... thanks for helping me out, now to just wipe this shame off and to survive, lol. The Letter W
I don't mind it being separate because it's kind of irritating to be picking up manure with a spear in hand then suddenly accidentally attack a Beefalo. When it's surrounded by another twenty of them.

the truthseeker
I too suffered from too many accidental attacks and support a separate attack button. Occasional when using the mouse to move I can accidentally cause an attack if I mis-click (finger injury makes wasd more difficult for me,) but it is very rare compared to the "infrequent but too often" of space bar before. gnarlytreeman
hmm given the amount of posts on the forum i take it finger injury = paper cut? j/k
Grumpy
To OP, you ARE aware that there's still an attack key, right? It's just separate from the action key now. IMO it's much better this way.
ARamblingSpider
I prefer it having auto attack as a different key. It gets annoying sure to remember especially being surrounded by spiders, but you never know when you're gonna make a slip up and attack something that you're to weak to fight against. xSadoro
Left ALT.Isnt that a bit uncomfortable? I find F pretty good. And I like it how it is now much better than spacebar for both actions and attacks...
jbeetle
I just want to point out that I remember Kevin saying the reason he separated the keys was because it was causing problems with the controller setup and this made it better. so I really doubt it's going to change back to a dual-action key. Priceless.
Lamkin
The thing is that you can bind both attack and action to the spacebar...at the same time, meaning...so that it works like it did before.I actually play it that way, though yes, I think the ideal setup is to go with separate keys so as to avoid unintended attacking or actions....I just had trouble adjusting to using a new key that my thumb couldn't press easily (I tried left-shift with the pinky for action...or F with the forefinger, and those were pretty good, but still a little awkward), so I gave up when I realized you could have it work like it used to. =p
TeoSS69
Isnt that a bit uncomfortable? I find F pretty good. And I like it how it is now much better than spacebar for both actions and attacks...Absolutely not. It's like the spacebar is divided in two. Also F means I have to chose between attacking and moving to the right.
