Is The Dlc going to be paid or free?

Also Most people that play this game dont have money like me and im shure other kids too

Most people that play this game have jobs.

DLC is optional content. If you don't like it, you don't buy it; if not, do so or wait for a sale. Can't expect content to be free forever.

title says it i hope its not payed i dont want dont starve to strip away content and force dlc.

Could you make that post any more difficult to read?  Punctuation my friend!

If I deciphered your post correctly, I'd say that there will be no "stripping away of content" and no one is forcing you to download content.

It's arguable whether most folks playing this game have jobs or not, but sometimes it does seem like there's an over abundance of 10 year-olds around here.

Simple fact is, the devs can't keep working on this game forever without getting paid.  If you don't have the $9 the DLC will probably cost, you still have the base game and all the mods that go with it, and that ain't shabby.

This.

The DLC will probably be paid, but given that Don't Starve itself isn't incredibly expensive, I'd say the DLC should be quite affordable.

I got the game when it was on sale for ~50% off.  I'm patient like that.  I love the game and if I had known how much I would have enjoyed it I would have tried to convince my wife to let me budget in the expense.

I would expect the price to be about the same as the DLC for Mark of the Ninja which is ~5 USD.  Given that it is about 1/3 of the current price of the game and would add (probably) a generous amount of new content, 5 USD would be perfectly reasonable.

But, beyond that - I think they also want to have modders use a lot of what they have at their disposal to create a game that will be engaging and long lasting.  And I think that if they are smart, they will implement their DLC as new features and backend stuff rather than simply release a Klei made mod that is called DLC.

Anyway, time to go play Terraria 1.2 while I wait for the Six Feet Under patch.

Shhhhhh

Don't say things like that

I think

I wish all the updates were DLC. Even if they were still free.

That way, we could easily rollback to previous versions by simply uninstalling the updates one by one.

Or Klei could have made their mod system a little better, so it didn't break all mods whenever they updated the game slightly.

I feel a little sorry for the amazing developers. Everyone wants everything for nothing :-P this game only costs $15! Another $15 for a substantial update or small updates at $7 each would be well justified at the very least, last night l hade pizza and payed about $18 and it was gone in a night, I have been playing this game for months with amazing updates all the time.
