Too many sketches, annoying to move them around.

Recommended Posts

I mean c'mon... why can't we just learn or make copies of them? I'd suggest making these and normal tumbleweed blueprints copy-abe on Cartographer's table, maybe in lategame being able to learn copy rare blueprints too. Or have Wilson/Winona/Wicker to be able to draw detailed diagrams.

Are you aware that you can erase them at a cartographers desk? It gives you one papyrus each and is honestly a decent source of it if you kill bosses consistently. The only time I get annoyed by them is if I need to move my main potters wheel for whatever reason. I'm not against being able to copy blueprints though (mainly because everyone on my server wants to be able to make bundling wrap)

Did you both not read what I said? XD It's not about trying to get rid of them but the issue of needing to move them from one table to another if you don't have extra copies. Namely chess piece copies since they are a kind of a pain to get through tumbleweed sometimes.

I wanna just learn those prints and not need to break tables for it.

My bad, I misunderstood. yeah for the chesspiece sketches specifically I usually just store them in a separate table/area in case I need them somewhere specific.

I personally don't really like the idea of them being consumable in the same way blueprints are.

Sketchbook item that can store sketches like a tackle box :)

Or just making them be right clicked on like normal. Could just be a world unlock instead of player unlock.

This is also a decent idea

Forumite moment…

i dont understand why handling sketches has to be this annoying either.

i like leaving sculptures on the wheel sometimes for the added height but for unique sculptures u need a sketch for every single wheel this way.

Just let it be a blueprint or have all sculpting wheels in the entire world share sketches between them.

If one wheel has a sketch inside it u can make the same sculpture on any other wheel.

Radical idea: build more than one Cartographer's Desk and place it close to where the Tumbleweed spawn. Genius, I know.

Spoiler

Let me guess: a big part of the people who played for more than 1k h still haven't figured out that you can place more Science Machines across the map in order to open gifts faster.

I like how several comments later people are still not understanding what you're talking about xD.

I'd really like for all the tables to share the same recipes personally then you dont have to carry them at all.

For the sake of a new idea maybe you could place sketches and blueprints at the cartographer's desk and use one papyrus to craft dupes. More tedious than the above idea but I think it would be neat to share blueprints you find at least. And if someone doesn't know in what table a sketch is they can craft their own (I still want universal sharing first though).

Or just make another book that's like a arts and crafts book where you could carry and store your prints... Honestly would be easiest solution I feel if they REALLY want to keep the prints still unlearnable. Makes sense, right? It's not convenient to carry prints at all.

Forumites are a wonder of their own, brain empty and in bliss.

Re-read what I've said. Ya missed it completely.

We need be able to stack they.

That's a bad solution to a problem of how many different kinds there are... It's about when you wanna make statues on different side of the world and in order to get ones out that are in a table already you are forced to break the table to gather and transfer them. And there are so many prints that you need an excessive amount of space for a bunch of dumb pretty picture papers.

Kill other Boss.

You don't get extra chess piece sketches for killing chess bosses? Nor does it fix the solution that building those statues won't be all in the same place of the world either? Not everything revolves around one place just to base or decorate sometimes.

Tumbleweed are like a gacha game noone wants to get those things, killing bosses just to get all prints present to make whatever you want isn't practical nor what anyone would want.

L take No. 2 from you.

What part of his comment makes you think he wants to delete them?

The same part that makes you assume he wants to keep them. Another radical idea: keep a dedicated Krampus Sack for transporting certain items. I do this to move gold from the Pig King and it streamlines the eel trading nicely.

I haven't read above posts, so maybe someone already suggested this, but why not having a specialized portable container for Sketches too, like that Spectackler Box from Crabby Hermit?!

Exactly!!

Are you aware that you didn't read the thread forumite no. 54625 XD

8000 hours can't kill bosses? Can't farm Tumbleweed? I am really out, bye have a nice day.

lmao I killed all bosses multiple tens of times and done everything many times like tumble and what not, I'm sorry that you miss the point of what I'm trying to say completely XD

You are literally quoting him saying

I don't know how it can be more clear than that. "Did you not read what I said? I don't want to get rid of them, I want to move them between tables but don't have enough. I want to learn them [so I don't need to move them between tables]". The previous comment also clearly says this,

"Why can't we learn or copy them? I want to copy them on the Cartographer's table, or let a specific character copy them." is the original post.

Are you trolling?

Okay now instead of blatantly pretending like people are saying the exact opposite of what they're saying now you're suggesting that Klei should not make the game better, and instead if anyone wants to transport the purely cosmetic and completely non-functional statue sketches around, which work exactly like blueprints but you can't read them for some reason, they should instead just spend hours farming a 1% drop rate item. You are never going to make that time up, lol, you may as well just carry them in a piggyback.
