Wortox would probably think this civil war/choosing sides thing is foolish. Woodie has a dark curse that is also triggered with the moon and I'm guessing he would also think it's not logical. Maybe Wes would be in there too because he wants to help everyone out. At least that's what I think. I could see Wicker Bottom on team Lunar though, because of all of the knowledge going on over there. Also I love your idea of Winona in shadow because she would want to see Charlie and maybe try to save her. I also like the idea of Maxwell and Wilson having a rivalry sort of thing. They aren't necessarily the leaders but they'd be out to get each other constantly. Obviously in game you can choose whoever to be on whatever side but I do wonder if they will have canon teams for the characters. She's shown a lot of praise for Mani(The Norse god of the Moon, who she perceives Alter to be instead). In some quotes she associates the shadows and darkness with Loki who she seems to dislike from what I can interpret. Why Warly for Lunar? Curious what lead you to that pick. Willow I would personally put on Team Lunar. She's always been fighting against the shadows since the beginning, that's been Bernies purpose. I can see her becoming an ultimate shadow fighting force with a lunar infused bernie on her side. Woodie's interesting, on one hand he could go team lunar to encourage his wereform/become more powerful. The moons growing prescence is how he got the two extra wereforms at the end of the day. On the other hand he could go team shadow if he wants to suppress his wereform. Though considering the existence of the Daywalker perhaps lycanthropy would still occur with the powers of the shadows. Wortox, I actually think it'd be much more interesting if he just wanted to stay out of the way. I can't see him wanting getting in the midst of any of this. Wickerbottom I think mostly leads towards shadow with her magics, though she's got small hints of lunar interest. The rest. Yeah I can't think of anything either. The reason why Warly is in the constant is because he became desperate to try and help her grandmother suffering from dementia. It doesn't seem like Maxwell really honored his end of the deal and we have this quote for the completed Celestial Altar on the island is this: "You know how to get me home to maman?" If anything, it seems like he'd want to go back to his grandmother rather than stay in the constant at this point. As for Willow, I put her on Team Shadow cause of what happened at the end of Wickerbottom's short where she seems to already be in cahoots with the shadows. Incorrect, Wurt would be on the SHADOW Side because it is Canon that Hamlet takes place in the skies above DST and Thus are closer to the Moon, which made the pigs intelligent enough to build their entire Hamlet civilization. Pigs are also Cursed by the Moon to become Werepigs on a Full moon or Gargoyle Pigs?? In Hamlet.. if the moon is giving the pigs all their intelligence & powers.. Moon is on Filthy pigs side. GuardDuty Posted May 5, 2023 Share Posted May 5, 2023 it's unlikely that WX will support the Lunar side due to their past relationship with Wagstaff. Additionally, WX considers the clockworks as peers and probably will side with them. Wortox is not trapped in the Constant and will likely choose the more fun option, but based on his comments about the Ruin, he may favor the Shadow. On the other hand, Wes is likely to be on the Lunar team regardless of his choices, as Maxwell hates him. As for Webber, he would probably align with the Shadow side to stay with the spiders and avoid being hunted if he were to leave the Constant. Frashaw27 Posted May 5, 2023 Share Posted May 5, 2023 I would actually argue that Wanda would either be neutral or attempt to side with Lunar peeps as she might want to destroy the shadows to get out of her "deal". Even her examination quotes for the gestalts have her question if she should make another deal so she might go for it. Edit: Upon further inspection, she'd be even more likely to side with lunar due to how scared she is of anything to do with the Ancient fuelweaver and how the timelines become " untangled" when she wears the enlightened crown. Woodie and wicker seem like they would join the lunar side since all of woodies abilities work because of the moon and apparantly wicker helped him with that in some way. In fairness, with Klei's plans for being able to "choose a side", I am thinking they'll give us plenty of new toys/unique perks for characters to play with like Wilson got, depending their chosen alignment. So they may have just been waiting on it, though we'll have to wait and see. While Wolfgang, Walter, and especially Wanda all got shadow/ruins crafts. So I don't think Klei would have held back a lunar circuit just so WX could get one from lunar alignment.
