    • [Balance] Rework inspiration to work for non-bosses by having the drain be lowered (make her lose inspiration on hit as a downside)

    • [QoL] Music book item that can hold multiple songs
    • [Balance] Fireproof falsetto (renamed to Burning Rime) 66% dmg reduction against fire and freezing + freezing effects are 50% less effective
    • [New] Wigfrid completes hunts faster than other characters
    • [New] Ability to throw battle spear (similar to forge)
    • I don't like any of the above options
    • Something else (comment below)

My main suggestion about fireproof falsetto it to turn it into two different songs:

Insulating Intrata: (made with a winter koalefant trunk) A more generalist weather/elemental protection that provides 50% damage reduction from combusting, faster freeze recovery, medium winter insulation, medium  summer insulation and moderate rain protection.

Fireproof Falsetto: (still made with spitterfish) Another instant activation song like rude interlude that immediately douses all surrounding entities with water, putting out any fires

I like the music book idea.

For QOL, I'd like the Weaponized Warble to slightly boost weapon damage, and Heartrending Ballad/Clear Minded Cadenza to scale in how much health/sanity is gained based on the max health pool of the hit enemy.

Bel Canto of Courage could also give a very small light radius for each ally given its cost.

Not likely, but because she's combat orientated, I'd like an expansion on combat just for her. She could have a small window to parry for reduced damage with a strong counterattack, or a small dodge roll.

Sadly, that would no longer be QoL. Wig already has damage multiplier.

Warble has its uses for weapons that are more valuable. The move valuable / frail the weapon, the better that song becomes.

Ah, I didn't think that far enough. Just looking at the main description of the song without accounting for multipliers and rarity of the weapon seemed lack-luster to me, but I see your point.

A full rework.. I hate this rework the most out of all reworked characters this one feels like the laziest/least creative-

I would have loved to see Wigfrid get new crazy combat mechanics, if Woodie can get a forward charge and ground pound AoE.. And Wolfgang can throw dumbells at his Foe’s, My gal Wigfrid should have gotten something new and unique as well-

Id prefer something like an AoE knock back attack where she can spin her spear in a circle pushing mobs of enemies away from her and forcing them to scatter, or a ranged battle spear throw.. that could possibly “pin” an enemy to the ground for a few hits.

Instead, I got some song scrolls.

First of all, I would like Wigfrid's natural (without songs) health and sanity regen to be replaced with gaining health and sanity on kill, just like in DS. I guess that was changed upon porting her to multiplayer in order for players to feel presence of upside while fighting bosses that can take really long to kill compared to regular mobs, but now she has songs for prolonged combat, so I think it's fine.

Fireproof falsetto should be changed as well: I would prefer it to have effect on activation instead of being active all time, as well as apply increase of mobs and world's moisture in area of certain radius around Wigfrid (in extreme scenario causing rain). This would create such a great synergy with voltgoat jelly and morning star, as well as be a way to start rain on demand in certain area (although I would like other characters being able to start rain at reasonable cost on their own as well) and remove sandstorm for Antlion fight due to that, create another way to fight Dragonfly without panflute (extinguish her while kiting enraged for a while), as well as making clearing ruins during winter actually a good idea since even in case of dry caves (which happens sometimes) Wigfrid would be able to take advantage of extra electric damage - as long as she has protection from low temperature (especially since below 0 degrees caves don't dry off).

I also have an idea for 1 more song that could be crafted with ice bream and also activate on demand rather than being maintained: after activation for a few seconds Wigfrid could create path of strong winds (lasting for 30-60 seconds) that would slow down mobs that try to cross this path, the lesser would be mob, the more should be slow down + additional effect strength against flying mobs. That way Wigfrid could use her own positioning to delay grumble bees in Bee Queen fight, slow down wooven shadows for certain direction, make it generally easier to tighten group of mobs for various purposes, etc. If not used carefully, that can make situation worse, just like in fireproof falsetto paragraph, thus balancing it's strength by making it "double-edged sword".

Startling soliloquy could either last a bit longer or cost a bit less of inspiration, because right now in situations where it theoretically could be useful it appears to be not viable for solo/small group: for Bee Queen phase 2 there is just too little time between need to repeat activation of this song in order to build up enough inspiration, as well as to deal some meaningful damage to the boss, and in case Klaus it requires tanking during basically the whole fight, because again, effect doesn't last long enough and singing animation is very long, which I would prefer not to due to it being massive resource sink.

I want her to have 9 costume that she could change her role, like she could be come a noble who struggle with politic, a dark lord who just want to be heard, something like that and all of them have exculsive helmet and weapon and also a rope for her original self that she don't know how to act because it a role she forgotten a long time ago.

Weapon Rack purely for aesthetic purposes.

Perhaps a Grindstone to sharpen weapons up, giving them a very small boost for a short time or maybe making them not lose durability for a certain amount of hits after using them but each weapon can only ever be sharpened once? I like that second idea more now that I think about it. The weapon would simply be renamed to "Sharpened X" so "Sharpened Battle Spear" or "Sharpened Dark Sword" and the first maybe 10 uses or something wouldn't affect its durability. The more I brainstorm the idea the more I want it !!!

I guess it sort of fills a similar role to that song that reduces durability use of weaponry.... even if thats the case and this would make both less useful because of the other option I would still enjoy it, there are plenty of other ways in the game to achieve similar goals or mechanics with multiple items so why not. 

A song book that can hold say 3 songs in one slot would be fantastic and would see me actually using them again because right now I pretty much only ever use one of the sanity ones just so sanity stays as full as possible for Dragonfly so that the Enlightened Crown does extra DPS for as long as possible (Bone Armor, Crown and Catapult/Houndius set up that absolultely minces Dfly). 

Otherwise I don't use the songs at all, if I could carry 3 around in a single slot via a song book I would use them FAR more often and would be happy dedicating a single slot for them. 

Fireproof falsetto is absolute and complete trash, I personally think a few other songs fall into that catergory (the instant use ones are garbage especially on console) but others seem to find uses for and actually utilise some of the other songs I think are garbage.
Fireproof Falsetto however is agreed upon by pretty much every single person on here as complete trash. It needs to either provide like 95-99% immunity from fire and heat and even stop you from being able to catch fire or it should be completely removed. As others have suggested it could even be replaced with a song that protects from both heat and cold, A Song of Fire and Ice! Perfect reference haha

A few new songs would be great perhaps a lunar themed one. Maybe one that puts nearby mobs to sleep but costs like 5 Mandrakes to make so that Pan Flute isn't just completely obsolete in comparision. Also only Wig could use the Song so every other character would still be reliant on Pan Flute/Sleep Darts.  This would put Mandrakes in a similar spot to Gears with Old WX for Pubs, I also completely forgot that Wickerbottom had Sleeptime Stories somehow... A lunar themed song would be nice I just have no ideas for what it should do.

I'm not too fussed or bothered by a Spear throw or combat ability as no other character really has something like this outside of the Forge. It would probably make her really popular and unique and be unfair to the rest of the cast. If we get some minor combat rework or some additions across the board for everyone then i'd be down for her having some special combat ability but otherwise I don't think this is really necessary. 

I do like the idea of her getting some sort of benefit or boost when doing hunts considering there is more reason to do them with her than any other character. Early game especially doing these can be a huge benefit food wise given her diet and low hunger max, in pubs I do hunts A LOT early game. You can easily gather mats while doing so if you are familiar with how long you have between each track as well so they are certainly not all that time consuming if you know what you are doing. I'm not sure about her doing them faster but I would certainly enjoy her having some very small buff or unique interaction with them in some way.

As far as downsides I honestly wouldn't mind a new downside so long as it isn't something insane and is fairly tame. Yes she is one of the strongest characters and yes if you know what you are doing she is near impossible to die as and has some really great perks. They are pretty much entirely combat based though and she doesn't have any benefits in any other type of game play. She also has a very low max hunger meter so this combined with her diet (even though the diet is super easy to manage) make her a very very hungry warrior indeed. Honestly I consider her low hunger max more of a downside than her diet at this point. I would only be happy with a new downside as long as it is very minimal and doesn't actually change much in the scheme of things but rather makes her more fun and interesting to play and is added ALONGSIDE new buffs. I think that this would be a hard balance to achieve though. 

I strongly disagree with and don't at all like how Klei nerfed the hell out of Wolfgang and WX recently considering the existence of the almighty Wanda so if Wigfrid gets a new downside it needs to be SUPER minimal and be added alongside a few minor buffs. Everyone keeps talking about balance every time a new refresh is released but as long as Wanda exists balance is honestly non-existent in this game.

That would be the equivalent of old WX in pubs, but for mandrakes instead of gears. Would make for a bad idea.

And recycling mechanics that other character already have in their kit (in this case Wicker) isn't that needed.

Ah I completely forgot that Wicker had Sleepytime! 

I guess you're right about it being bad for pubs too as Wig would hoard the Mandrakes, I was thinking more late game once you have a ton of spare mandrakes from Klaus and could just use 5 to make the Song and stop using Panflutes. I'm biased towards Solo play and sometimes forget the effects things would have on pubs etc. 

Wasn't a great suggestion really just couldn't think of anything else Lunar themed for a Lunar Song.

Functional specialized containers like Weapon Rack, Umbrella Stand, Coat Hanger and Bookshelf would be so useful in keeping bases tidy, aesthetically pleasing and organized.

Please Klei, we need more storage solutions! I know they'd take quite an effort on the art team if they went the full effort to design visual updates for each socketed hat/weapon/book like the decorations of Winter's Feast tree but I'd really welcome a content update that's all about more storage solutions.

they already did something similar for hamlet so maybe wont be that big of a deal

The problem with wigfrid or rather her songs is that not many of them are useful/can't be used well I'm still waiting for an opportunity to use rude interlude but it's just not possible it would be nice if rude interlude and startling soliquoy didin't need inspiration and had a cooldown instead.

If wigfrid's inspiration meter didn't go down naturally if she wasn't fighting but instead if she had an active song then rude interlude and startling soliloquy would maybe serve more purpose.

But it would also probably mean that she'd have a more "constant" inspiration loss and probably would have to be more aggressive in combat just to upkeep it sooo.

Maybe not the best idea.

I don't main Wigfrid but I do play her from time to time. My biggest gripe with her are the efficiency of her songs in solo play. The only one I actually use is Weaponized Warble. I would love a buff to Startling Soliloquy since that one can be quite powerful especially as a solo player to give yourself some breathing room. I remember watching a challenge of someone who used no healing from food or items and relied solely on her innate healing and Heartrending Ballad.
Other than that I'd like more songs would be nice. Granted I have no idea what she needs or even if there should be anymore. I guess I only really want a buff to Startling Soliloquy. And Fireproof Falsetto I guess since that seems to be the most frequently brought up.

the fire inmunity should be raised to atleast 75% and, since wolfgang can throw dumbbells, she should be able to throw her spear dealing double damage
