We need jerk characters/npcs?

I think it would be nice to see a bigger range of personalities but I don't know if people would like a "jerk" character or NPC, there is people that dislike Pearl just for being cranky.

And also I think it would be cool to see a betrayal at the end of the next (or any future) story arc, the biggest candidate for that I think would be Wagstaff although too obvious.

I don't think there should be more jerks for gameplay as the monkeys this game has fill that niche perfectly and make me want to toss my entire self into the center of the sun but maybe some sort of mythological boss creature or something like the loathsome dung eater. Someone who is just completely and utterly reprehensible but hasn't done anything bad to US.
