If that's the case, then Wurt's victorian outfit makes a lot more sense to me. yep. if you lose in gorge you get turned into a merm. that's what happened to sammy and pipton and if you look closely, you can see scales on the swamp pig elder's hand and up mumsy's body. a few characters have quotes to support this as well: billy: - "Sammy was a goat before, like mum and I." sammy: - "The plague ain't so bad, y'know" pipton: - "Shame you didn't see the town in its glory days" - "Many of our sick disappeared into the seas. Odd that." - "At least the sickness didn't take my mustache! Erineyes7 Posted July 2, 2021 Share Posted July 2, 2021 People seem to be forgetting that Maxwell made the constant we play in, and adding something to the extreme of Ancients that didn't go into the caves, completely ruins the established world building. Yes Charlie is on the throne, but I'd assume Charlie is very busy with whatever's going on with the moon to create an entire world under water The idea of a merm city or something to do with the Mactusks is a great idea, and builds on something pre established.
