The moon boss needs a buff, Klei!

Excellent loot, nothing to say, but the boss NEEDS a buff. How about give him immortality or regen while the 5 crystals are active in the last phase? With a time cycle for new crystals, demanding the player broke the crystals fast enough to kill him.

It is the LAST BOSS, KLEI, give him a buff plz!

Mmm yea he's tough but he isn't too hard compared to a heavy tank like Crab King. Overall, I guess you can cheese Crab King while it's hard to cheese this boss... but I do agree maybe crystals should give him health regen or invulnerability. Maybe health regen instead, if we don't wanna leech too much on Fuelweaver's mechanics.

I honestly really enjoy complicated boss fights (on any game, and so far DST have little of them, still enjoyable), this one's only fair so far, I would really not mind if it was a little more than what it is on the last phase mostly, like more interaction between Gestalts and his rocks probably would do a fine job. Outside of that, I'm satisfied :)

I dont think it needs regen, its already a lengthy fight as it is. If you want them to buff it, I would prefer if it used Gestalts more often, making sleep resistance food a lot more important for the fight. Or even passively spawning them around it from time to time, or a big one that explodes with a bigger range.

Yeah, it is an excellent buff. I said regen or invulnerability just for give some ideas, nothing else ^^
I'm recommending a buff because I just killed the boss using 5 pierogis, 1 crown, 5 green mushrooms and a hambat, solo with wolf... I know the difficults to prepare for this fight, but at least gives us some trouble for the last fight hahaha

after how much tries/youtube video reproductions? because if you try without any information that crown will be wasted by just 1 mistake

Not at the moment, no. Op mentions hp regen and other shenanigans while the crystals are up thus meaning needing to destroy them asap. Only thing that can accomplish that is the weatherpain. 

Currently its almost impossible to kill all woven shadows with a weatherpain. When trapped in the bone cage you can only aim the weather pain at the bone cage. The lazy explorer is fixed to teleport you about half a screen away, meaning a lot of wastes time. 

Similarly destroying toadstools shrooms is a nightmare solo. Lots of wasted time. 

Any changes requiring the crystals to be destroyed asap makes the fight harder on console.

yes and, playing in pc, i dont want another boss that requires the danm weather pain. There is more items and mechics rather than "work quick"

A decent way to keep the idea of a priority target like sporecaps, but without working is through the use of making it killable or interactable instead. If anyone were to go down the “kill the crystals” route.

Personally I think this boss stresses movement more than most of the bosses we have. There’s a lot of tells for specific attacks and places you have to have walk to to be “safe”.

Something interesting could be requiring enlightenment to fulfill a particular task maybe?

After youtube? I've killed after 4 times trying, but I wasn't using only one helmet (I always try with 5 on inventory), but only one was used in the process. The induces me to believe that a boss killed by only one player after some tries it is not a good mechanics boss, we are playing don't starve TOGETHER, so bosses should be harder for solo players in the game. I prefer don't watch youtube videos from new contents, a personal prefence btw.

just asking because isnt the same having knowledge of the fight than not knowing anything

my 1st klaus werent as clean as my last. I agree that, for how lategame the fight is, isnt so hard but only if you already know that you need extra speed, a way to reduce sanity and knowing how are the pattern atacks

This is why the game needs boss scaling- not just in health.. or damage it deals, but also in the abilities it’s capable of performing.

People who can’t gather a large group of players can still enjoy it and be challenged, then players who can group up can have a more difficult challenge that doesn’t feel like a complete cakewalk

but what most certainly does NOT need to happen, is direct boss buffs/Nerfs based on player feedback.

What seems too easy for one group of players will become to hard for another, and what’s too hard becomes too easy- Which is why we need these things addressed in the next QoL update so players can find just the right amount of challenge they feel comfortable with.

I usually just play with myself and my partner, we use a health scaling mod and its great. If it can be a setting in the world gen it would be nice so that solo/small groups can choose to have harder enemies if they want as well. Maybe even have an option where it scales even higher then what the max health is now for the masochists

this boss has aoe damage so it does the same damage to one or to 20 players

if they release an endgame boss that is easier to learn than klaus we should tell them. For that are betas

the celestial portal is the way dst has to change difficulty on bosses and other tasks. You have wolfgang, winona cathapults, warly volgoat jelly, wurt fishy army, weeber spider army, wes, bunnymens, rock loabsters, etc to ajust how difficult you want the game

you already said that you were bored watching glermz destroying bosses in few seconds. That is how he wants to play, others plays as wes, others uses wolfgang+ volgoat jelly+cathapults, others default damage character+winona cathapults, another one default damage character+jelly, or just wilson without any help. There is also different strats, chesse and items to ajust the fights

Uh just saying "play another character" isn't exactly helpful, it just points out that some characters suck at stuff. Its also not helpful for small groups or solo players who cant have Everything at once.

any character sucks. Everything can be done with every character

takes more time to reach him than having access to fw 

I don't think he needs another item since the crown gives already 4 super stats like damage addition, infinite light, sanity and infinite durability.

Remember that everything is subject to change. It might end up losing the infinite durability on release, get a damage nerf, etc. Also I feel like its the cumulatively drop of two bosses since CK still drops junk. Not to mention how many hoops we gotta jump through just to reach this guy... A second drop is more than justified, imo.
