Issue is, the Reanimated Skeleton can be a short walk from your base in almost any scenario but the lightbulb biome could be really far into the caves. Also, you can collect glow berries from the skeleton, which last 40 days in a mushlight (since they take 10 days to spoil). I always use the Skeleton rather than the caves for my lightbulbs when I get the necessary items. Sure, if you like keeping a skeleton around, but you can't really compare what you get from the skeleton with what u get from the lightbulb biome; what you get from skeleton in most nights you get from almost any cave entrance, that would be a more fair comparison, and I wouldn't say the skeleton is faster for that job even if you're not next to a cave. You still have to rebuild him, sometimes more than once, use some items you don't normally carry on you and so on. Personally i don't use him outside of farming moonrock, i'd agree he's good for refilling moggles if that's your choice for light, but i think relying on him to refill lamps is just too tedious if you have more than a very few. Astral Detector provides infinite light after all altars have been assembled. Fishing in Oasis during WF will provide infinite light inside of a glowcap or mushlight. Infinite light is already here, fam. It has not broken the game. So please, I don't wanna catch any more spores. Yeah you can only get them for a month a year but my god are they worth it, play a ton of DST during the event, farm the hell out of festive lights and you got infinite light across a whole megabase forever. If lightbulbs, spores etc didn't last so damn long in mushlights/glowcaps already MAYBE I would be onboard for a change but considering these last so long and do a great job until your long term world reaches the opportunity to farm festive lights I really don't see any need for a change. I guess 60 days doesn't seem like that much time when you need to dedicate an entire couple of days per year to refilling all them glowcaps. Honestly I just end up using lightbulbs most of the time and replacing every 24 days or so. But my god the rot...
