It could be sun-and-moon symbol, not sure how properly is named. There is a lot of babbling, something about polarity, and it feels like going too far with theories. I prefer to think is an eye and Florin Postern resemblance even it doesn't make sense, because of timeline. Maybe Wigfrid was a friend of Charlie...?

They both were performers (sort of? I think you could call charlie an actress.) You could say no since no quotes refer to her knowing charlie, but wigfrid is acting after all so its a possibility.

Maybe Wigfrid saw maxwell and charlie perform when she was young and wanted to act? though thats not too solid since their acting is quite different. Just a smol theory but probably not.

Or a fan? The only picture on my wall is a picture of cat phenotypes bc Iove cat and biology but Wigfrid really don't look like a person falling love to herself. To be honest I want to Klei surprise us and developers say "In your face" to us.

I'm not sure if anybody has pointed this out before, but upon closer inspection I've come to realize that she's actually toasting a marshmallow over the fire of Loge in the "Die Walküre" poster 

Feels like a very Wigfrid thing to do.

Havent you ever met potterheards or weebs? They have a lot of interest-related things in their homes, or even fricking altars. its not nesecearily their own photos. Then they go to the conventions, meetings and cons and they dress up as their fav characters pretending to be them.

It could be her parents. Part of me was thinking maybe her parents see her more of an extension of themselves and they present her more as an achievement of their family name rather than their daughter. i.e. they push her to perform and do well and boast about her, rather than support her dreams healthily. This might be looking too into it but anything goes with pre-Constant Wigfrid.

My assumption is that she was a boring, rich girl and couldn't get any friends. But when she started acting, her popularity soared, so it ended up becoming her only real way of socializing and feeling confident in herself and she became absolutely obsessed with her roles, since they were far more interesting than her.

 

Once her animated short comes out I bet the backstory will be something related to this.

 

Or it could just be her parents or something.

If I remember correctly her file name is Wathrigr and she was based on a character that never got released called Winnie.

Looks like an eclipse to me. It has a important part in norse mythology, just like any other.

They got similar facial features but Winnie was supposed to be blond and a vegeterian, weak and timid and caring for animals. Seems they did a mirror image and Wigfrid ended up a much more interesting character

As for the decor- when money isn't a problem, you can do what you want. If now rich people can have several private jets, then Wigfrid could decorate her walls with posters of plays she played in. Buying weapons and stuff related to ones unhealthy obsession is something I do happily- and I like to think I'm not crazy. 

One of those is clearly an award, one can be genuine antler she got from hunting. 

My bet after seeing the house is that she played the role her entire life, and after the play was taken off the stage she had nothing to do, still stuck playing her role and separating herself. Which is a perfect condition to get an offer from Maxwell, because we can clearly see that's the kind of people he went for during his reign. The offer is simple- you can keep playing your role, do you want to? It's a different matter it would be in a nightmare world where everything is trying to kill you.

Yes but she don't look a wikinghead, she look like a wiking. She does wiking role-playing even while death. She prefer choose death instead eating veggy but she living in a palace with self obsessed objects. Maybe I think wrong about her but I never realized her house like that. It's Warbuck & Wicker styled luxury house, not a wiking house. But we don't know about her personality so much from her quotes.

I’m pretty certain that back in the days of Fencing, Fencers used to actually hang their armor, weapons and photo’s of battle on their walls.

Actually- I’m pretty sure anyone in any sport who is proud of the accomplishments they have achieved in said sport- Would have their accomplishments hung on their walls.

We could go ask Shaq or Michael Jordan if they don’t keep photo’s of their basket ball career hanging around.. but you guys get the point.

Looking at the general design of the area its entirely possible that we aren't looking at her house at all, but rather a wing of an opera house. This would explain the large portrait (possibly of whoever Wigfrid used to be) flanked by what appear to be posters of past productions, as well as the various props on the walls. 

Not that those things can't be explained by it being her house and her being an actor who's proud of her work, regardless if she's egotistical or not, I'm just here to present my own theory.
