This is a rough idea I had for a Hallowed Night's skin for Wormwood, I'd like to create a new head made out of living log. I may do that soon! Another random concept I had for a Wilba Victorian I had ideas for 2 skin sets "The Enlightened" and "The Insane" with each set having skins of characters depicted in a cult-like way worshipping the opposite magics of the Moon and the Nightmares. So this is my Wx-78 The Insane! It's a bit short right now, but i'll fill this thread as time goes on! Hornete Posted April 14, 2020 Author Share Posted April 14, 2020 Hello! been a while sorry haha (Thanks to my friend @Mr. Tiddles for drawing the demonic face that I couldnt do!) I had an idea for a little bugger to put in the hot spring biome I'm creating called the "Axolozard" A mix between an Axolotl and a Lizard fish, these little buggers will swim around in the water with the regular baby face they have, but once they acquire a target their face transforms into the demonic face of the lizard fish! Upon death their corpses would regenerate into 2 more Axolozards, the only way to stop them from regenerating would be to burn or freeze their corpse. The strawberry drawn by yours truly of course, I'm not a big fan of the seeds on the strawberry so I'll probably change those too, not sure why I thought long oval seeds would look good lol. Heres a full size transparent image of the fully grown strawberry, I'd like to hear any criticisms if ya got them. I think I need to improve my coloring/shading, probably also add some black streaks/lines on it? They're just regular ol wacky plants like the land plants lol, but I suppose that's a fun idea for a lunar island sorta variant. Jawberries? Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler I like the wormy boi Hoo-boy, It's been too long since i've last drawn, it gets really hard to juggle things when you're mostly the only person doing everything in mods from art to code to animations and sounds. I haven't drawn in the last.... year? But I forced myself to get back into it a month or so ago and I've been doing a pretty okay job. I like my linework a lot, though detailing/coloring is as sh*t as I remember it being, xD. Am I gonna explain most of these? Uuuuuh no you figure them out on your own : ). But I really liked doing that Alter animation, animating in general is really fun now that I have Adobe Animate, Modder's generally have to use a program called Spriter buuut it is a horrible program, never wanna go back to it. I just did that Alter animation for fun, really enjoyed animating the spikes and the eye, the animation process is soooo much fun, I tend to fixate on small parts of the animation to try and get it juuust right which feels extremely rewarding. I've been wanting to do some traditional animation, but Ill need to set up some time for that, haha. I will talk about that tree. That tree is from Skye's Don't Starve: BC mod which I had worked on for a bit before deciding to leave, all that rough/placeholdery art is mine and the rest is Skye's sprites. Obviously you can tell some animations were not finalized but I really enjoyed finalizing what animations I did, the chop/sway animations are finalized and I did enjoy creating the growing-to-the-next-stage animations, the animations felt fun and cartoony. (While exporting it I realised it was set to 24 FPS in Adobe Animate, Don't Starve animations are usually rendered at 30 FPS lol, Oops! But I haven't made that mistake since :}) To be clear, half of these are mod art/animations, half is just for fun. Well here's to more art(and trying to learn how to draw UI...), and hopefully more programming, now that I've been drawing more I've less time for programming, I just can't win , but I try to keep a good balance. Until next time and hopefully more art and hopefully not me deciding to lose all motivation, abueno adios.
