Character's ages

Recommended Posts

How exactly do you see webber as "obviously a kid"? I never understood people who so desperately want certain characters to be kids, like webber and wurt...

Webber is obviously an adult by now. Why else would he be able to grow a huge beard, like gandalf himself?

Why else would the game say he was eaten by a spider as a child? So he is obviously not a child anymore since his body is already too big to be eaten by a spider.

Why else would webber be as tall as every other survivor in the constant?

Do you guys think webber is just magically always going to stay a kid like bart simpson and stewie griffin?

And to those who will use the lame excuse "he talks like a kid" well yeah... he lives with spiders he obviously doesnt have a rich vocabulary. Getting super tired of this obsession that he has to be a kid no matter what...

Pretty sure he doesn't grow a beard, it's not really facial hair, as a spider he might be weaving it from the silk that he produces.

That's just how the game works, every character has to have the same base model.

That's how Constant works, characters literally don't age further.

Webber is the exact same size as
- a child
- a strongman
- a viking
- an elderly woman
- a lumberjack
- a pirate
- a piglet
- a monkey
- a goat
- a fish with legs
Every single survivor is the same size, regardless of age or species. It's just part of how the game works.

The game describes it as a silky and it drops silk when shaved, so it's probaly silk in the shape of a beard made by the spider

How is this proof? Children grow up when they're still children, compare a 2 year old to 10 year old and you'll see the diference.

Yes, because Wagstaff and Maxwell himself says that time flows differently in the constant.

Overall, those were some pretty deniable facts.

Is it really about legality or morality? :D

These type of threads already litter the forums.

''General Discussion"

Seriously these type of threads get locked because of people like you who after seeing 'age' in the title imedietally go "oh everyone will talk about 18+ stuff for sure"

I created this thread to both inform the forumers as well as to check if my own knowledge is actually correct. I was wondering if someone was gonna come in and tell "oh actually it was recently told on the newest stream that x character is x yo"

But sure you do you and keep 'contributing' to the threads like that

No, Wes can ride a bicycle without compulsory wearing a bicycle helmet, which is what the previous post was referring to. If Billy rode the now crashed bicycle in The Gorge she should have used a bicycle helmet, or at least Fashion Goggles (for her own safety). The merm and pigman civilizations of The Constant both have rulers and laws, although the legalization for goats seem to be lagging behind when it comes to traffic. This makes Billy's age disputable.

Webber's Curio Cabinet bio literally calls him a young monster, but okay...

Wortox has a soft spot for children - evident by him wanting to save the baby beefalo in his short, and reassuring Ghost Wendy and Ghost Wurt that he won't take their souls, and just so happens to say the same to Ghost Webber, but okay...

To be honest I dont feel like Wendy is 8-10 years old, she sounds much more mature.

I always imagined and would like her to be 13 since it suits her character design of being the gloomy / horror one.
Shes depressed, haunted, horror esque and edgy being aged 13 is perfect for her. (Going through an edgy phase)

(Shes the most horror-esque themed and unlucky number 13 would suit her edginess and character design)

Klei change her to unlucky 13? :D

i don't understand why a lot of people can't discuss age like a normal human being around here

what's with the strange obsession?

and if someone's the kind that goes "don't lewd the loli xD", "she's not legal xD", or "fbi open up xD" whenever a young character is mentioned, i don't think they're that much better; people should stop this "must protect loli haha" crap, it's almost just as creepy and obsessive

This isn't a 20 year old.  She is obviously much younger.  I think the devs lied to us about her before, covering up her true age!
