Stole the topic idea from the Paradox forum. It's simple, you just post some intresting you did in game in here. I got the idea when me and 2 pigs played hit and run with a tree guard on day 3... and we killed him! I was even so happy that I gave the meat to one of the pigs! Sadly forgot to take pictures... be more lucky than me guys!

I went out hunting with MacTusk and wee MacTusk.Together we killed a spider queen that was causing problems for me,and she had quite the offspring aswell..MacTusk died,sadly..It is sad to see wee MacTusk all sad near the igloo when it's evening,he tries to cheer himself up by dancing with his hound(s),good thing daddy came back to life after a couple of days..

2 Treeguards were after me, heated beefalo came, then pigs got involved then it was night time, then free meat for everyone! Yay! Then me and my pigs ate like kings!

I'm certain I can take on Deerclops w/o them though.The thing is, why wouldn't you use a torch/fire darts?You could wack it 58 times or so with a spear,it will only take longer/drain more sanity,but it's not rewarding at all to melee Deerclops.I agree I cheesed up the fights but heck,the game rewards me for doing so(this counts for more stuff in DS aswell),so why wouldn't I? :pAlso the actual act of surviving Deerclopses is more important to me than *how* I survive them

I think he just did what Kevin wanted people to do.If I'm not mistaken, he said that ranged atacks are supposed to be used more often than melees, that's why the improvement on mob AI for battles (aka kiting pigs / bees)

Causing a massive war between the spiders and pigs of my world. There may have been some hounds involved as well.

As Wes on Day 1, took down a Spider Nest with fists, taking no damage.

I agree. From what I remember he wants melee combat to be a last resort and using other elements to outsmart your enemy or avoid them all together is what he would rather have happen.Weirdest accomplishment was me making a pig village with roads (when they could be dug up) and bushes in front of houses and it all was centered around the pig king in the middle.Greatest was taking both a tree guard and a spider queen at the same time with Wilson with no log armor and just a spear my first day playing the game. I had a nasty perfect storm of badness at about day 50 of the Winter patch. I was away from my usual camp and getting silk. One of the nearby nests became a spider queen so I started fighting her. By the way, it was already dusk. So I notice I'm like 5 seconds away from night time, and I build a camp fire. I spent 30-45 seconds fighting the queen kiting her around the fire. Then two Grue hands come and put out my camp fire. So I'm running away in full dark with morning not even close. Quickly, I make a torch and run like hell. I survived to the morning with low sanity, low HP, and an important lesson learned about fighting nasty creatures at night.
