I agree, for example a regular savannah biome sometimes generates the stage and it ends up feeling so barren while other biomes are often full of life, even a regular forest ends up more alive with the pigmen combating spiders.

It'd be nice to see more pois in savannahs or grasslands in the future

Today, Wizard with a Gun released, and interestingly enough in it's assets there is seemingly a concept banner for a Don't Starve DLC (DLC for Wizard with a Gun so far is just like with DST, purely cosmetic packs)

There is a similar banner sprite for Cult of the Lamb, if you like that game too!

This DST crossover launched today in Wizards with a Gun:  https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1150530/view/6953072862049068229.  Looks to be a free cosmetic DLC for anyone that owns DST.

Doesn't seem like we're getting anything in DST though.

To add onto what Cassielu posted above, looks like someone made a big oopsie! Cause the entire (WIP)Roseate skin for Walter was implemented too! All is visible when equipping the Merrymaker skin.

anim/build_status.zip was updated (or added) with the last update. I can't remember if I've ever seen them in DST (or maybe during early access, but that's a looong time ago). I think it's copied from Don't Starve, as they kinda look "oldschool". This is used in widgets/countdown.lua. Maybe they will be refreshed and used again due to the bigger intervall between updates?

They've existed in DSTs files before. I was showing that they were updated with some other folks yesterday!

Normally I'd think them being updated might have some meaning, but others were updated alongside them, and none were changed or altered in any sense that I can see, meaning I think they might've been brushed during clean up leading to them showing up.

Seeing as they're bunched in with a handful of other used and unused stuff I'm not sssuupperrrr certain they're being updated for any foreseeable use.

Ah, okay. The textures of the YOTC structures need to be upgrade to HD. Maybe they have opened the files and saved it without any change? So they just opened the build_status files because they wanted to do something similar with the crow kids overlay at the bottom of the menu.

Out of curiosity, does Winona's fragile rose have inspect quotes for other survivors?

In gameplay, only Winona can actually inspect it, but I'm curious to know if and what the other survivors say about it.

I don't know, just saw the file was updated and discovered some new textures.

EDIT: Found this in the tuning file:

SHADOW_BEEF_BELL_POOP_DISAPPEAR_TIME = 5

So it is connected to the Beefalo Gloom Bell.

Then I guess poops from beefaloes tied to shadow bells just disappears after some time like that.
