Could you please give me some challenges for me to do in the game? Like kill a tree-guard with only a a fishing-rod, or trying to get an army of pigs to help me kill the Spider queen while keeping my hunger level below 25, or something else. I need you [the Don't Starve Community] to create silly, awesome, wacky challenges that will just be fun to watch and make your day a bit brighter. On top of that think of this thread also as a library of challenges that the hardcore players can do too. The challenges can be anything- any character, survive until ?? day while only eating ???, blah blah blah.... I hope you create some amazing challenges and... No.3 - Bloodlust - @Blazingice26You cannot eat any vegetables or berries, so turn those off in world gen, no farms allowed, of course, but you may set beefalo and pigs and spiders to more if you wish, the rules are, you must satisfy your bloodlust to eat for the day, on days 1-20 you must kill a small animal everyday, else you may not eat until you kill the animal (spider,rabbit,bird,etc.) even if you should starve, days 20-40 you must kill one medium animal a day (tallbirds, baby beefalo, pigs, etc.) days 40+ you must kill one big animal (beefalo,koalephant, etc.) or one boss monster to eat for a week (Treeguard,Minotaur,Spider Queen, etc) No.4 - The rule of the exoskeleton - @Xjurwi-Spiders, Tentacles on Lots.-No pigs and no tallbirds.-Almost night.-No winter.-no carrots and less berries.-touchstones on less.-Reeds of lots. I then had to switch to Camtasia, which proved to be a dream. I spent all of Sunday editing the video. I has to edit over 1 hour of Raw Footage. I now realise how long a Don't Starve day can be.... Try to survive in caves: enter a cave and never leave it. You should debug spawn a miner hat, and then you are ready to go. You can decrease Beefalo heat and put Deerclops to lots so it spawns in summer too. Those come to mind for now.It's still possible to survive winter, but I don't want to spoil it. I do it in all my playthroughs. No winter clothes? That's stupid. No armor is ok, but no clothes... Try to survive in caves: enter a cave and never leave it. 23rd Posted December 12, 2013 Share Posted December 12, 2013 Play as Wes without eating any crockpot foods. Since we're at it, cut out drying racks as well. Farms, Birdcages and Bee Boxes are allowed. You'll either learn how to give Winter the middle finger or starve trying. -Hounds to Lots This actually makes things easier in the long run. The number of Hounds, while large, will stay consistent throughout the entire playthrough. Keeping Hounds on normal however will have their numbers get bigger and bigger until later waves far surpass the amount of Hounds and come in waves much quicker (need someone who can confirm that second one) the Hounds you get when setting them to Lots. Rosten Posted December 14, 2013 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Challenge - DelverRules - Start on Default +, when you start, reveal the entire map, You get 10 days to prepare, i suggest gathering fireflies and food and such, after those ten days are up, you may not collect anymore resources, and must speed your way to the nearest cave, your goal is to get down to the ruins, kill the guardian or die trying, i hope the rockthulu gods favor you > Impossible Mode -No Rockthulus or followers of any kind. Normal game settings.- Wall yourself off with no hammer (or way to make one) and so you're trapped and starve.- What's the least dangerous mob that can kill you? Is there any way you can get a butterfly to kill you? Stuff like that.
