Hamlet Beta Signups! [Now Closed]

Hey there. I used my steam account to log in and I have got Don't Starve Shipwreck in my Steam inventory. But I can't find Don't Starve in my Klei account. I wonder if this will matter cuz I really want to sign up Hamlet Beta. Can anyone help me?

I wouldn't worry too much about the Klei Accounts page not detecting that you own DS, since It's very likely just a problem on the website itself. If your Klei Account is linked to your steam account, then Klei will be able to easily see if you own DS or not.

The beta won’t be released until after 10am or so, Pacific Standard Time, so don’t come to the forums screaming “Where is it????????!!!!!!!!” as soon as it turns midnight wherever you are tonight.

honestly the only thing that bothers me and a few more about this "Random rnd = new Random();" selection is that we are afraid klei won't get what they want; feedback. The thing with first come first serve kinda showed who were the fans that were more of the die hard fans for the game, that really cared 'bout the game. Now that it is in fact random, chances for people that "play the game twice and forget about it" increases. Not to be mean, but this might end up as a flop, but we will see

It's nice more of the playerbase are making forum accounts but 99% are just going for the beta and will never use the account again, and even if they get in the beta there's a low chance they'll actually end up reporting bugs since they never did so to begin with.

I just hope Klei took this into account for the amount of people picked. They might be getting 10,000 testers but in reality only expecting 1,000 to provide feedback. That's the hope at least.

I understand you and agree with it, but I'm pretty sure Klei knows it as well and they will (or did) consider it for the method of chosing the beta participants. After all, they don't have to share every detail on how they select from us, there are a lot of ways to chose randomly.

666 hours exactly, and I play Shipwrecked. I'm ready this spoopy October to test Hamlet. If I don't get in, I'll be quite surprised and disappointed!
