Several dupes stranded, food decaying, kitchen not working, rockets and space scanners failing, dupes peeing and sleeping on the floor. Dovahkick Posted August 11, 2021 Share Posted August 11, 2021 So I found out that if you have more than 1 Artifact Transport Module on a rocket, it will collect multiple artifacts from one single point of interest. On my side however, it turns out that man-made points of interest (destroyed rockets, space stations, satellites, etc...) are absolutely WORTHLESS! With my rocket holding 9 freackin' Artifact Transport Modules, it got 8 Office Mugs...and 1 Modern Art. It took me 4.5 cycles just to reach this dumb satellite! And what was that satellite supposed to be for? Serving space coffee in zero-G? Is it some kind of pub out there? Screw Gravitas and its intensive research on mugs, I'm outta here! Edit: Actually, I was wrong, the quality of the artifact depends on the distance of the POI from the starting asteroid. I tried with the Swampy Ore Field this time and got similar results. Now I've got enough mugs to make an actual pub. Edit 2: I don't know anymore...if it doesn't depend on the distance from the starting asteroid, then what is it? Other than that, I now have more than enough mugs to make an actual pub for my duplicants...if there ever was a possibility for that. Imagine if there was a role for duplicants as barman. g5457s Posted November 18, 2021 Share Posted November 18, 2021 This is a really nice little bug that's in the game for I don't know how long, probably since the Tubular Update years ago. I dunno when it happens or how to replicate it. After a dupe suffers so much abuse, misuse and neglect for a very long time, probably over hundreds of cycles, said dupe will eventually stop doing their stress reaction at 100% stress (or until one reloads the game). In the case of my "favorite" dupe Max, he eventually stops ugly crying and just does his work without much complaints. As seen in these screenshots, he's at 100% stress for about 3 cycles now and is still going strong, bottling all the pain and suffering in him. What a champ! Max: "I hate my life..."
