And every living entity obtains a party hat for an event. The forge opens back up, only everything has a party hat. A spear but the tip is a party hat. And every crockpot recipe is replaced by a "Cake" variant of it. I didn't read their posts too often, so if you don't say, I wouldn't have noticed that... Why exactely was he banned? I saw that their "DS should contain RoG" thread is pretty offensive (not sure if that's the good word at all?...) and he stubbornly claimed changes that depend on things we simply cannot know or affect (like the economics of Klei). But I don't see why was it so bad to ban them. Or did I miss something? Mr.Mulk Posted January 27, 2018 Share Posted January 27, 2018 I'd like to see Klei release an "Odds n' Ends" set, where there isn't an overarching theme. This is because there's tons of awesome concept skins that work for one of the characters but not all, and therefore haven't been released(they've stuck to the sets theme pretty hard). This would be a neat way to release all these miscellaneous skins as a justifiable set. Karmattack Posted January 28, 2018 Share Posted January 28, 2018 A few suggestions for nice anniversary skin items: Dowsing Rod (Spear Skin): A nice little reference to a base game only feature, and it's not like they don't already have the art laying around. Update Wilson (Wilson Base Skin): That completely shadowed-out Wilson with an evil expression that used to appear on the title screen of the base game on the timer for an upcoming update. Birthday Cake (Campfire Skin): A large cake with a probably dangerous amount of candles serving as a firepit skin. Birthday Candle (Torch Skin): Sort of matching with the above, an oversized birthday candle to serve as a torch skin. The first two could be a bonus for owning the base game (like the Mini Monument/Pirate Birdcage) while the second two could be given to anyone who logged in during the event. On topic: I doubt there will be anything special, really. Unless Hamlet counts, then definitely. Also, as you said it's Don't Starve's 5 year anniversary, not Don't Starve Together's, so skins are probably a bad idea.
