I think the meteor is, well, a meteor. Like them meteors that supposedly come from the moon.

I got a sneekin' suspicion that the Fumigator might be the thing nome voices, but I might very well be completely wrong. I doubt we'll be seeing it anytime soon though.

The Slipster I don't know anything about, can't tell you anything about that.

The shadow piece equipment is the thing I care about most out of these. Right now all they amount to is "Let's get this done with for Fuelweaver" since a successful fight against him consumes the heart. Unique equipment also means each one of them actually is worth bringing to it's third form instead of just the easiest one.

I completely agree. After one person has bone armour the obvious level three shadow to fight is the rook. There's no real incentive to fight the others instead.

The iridescent gem at least can be used for decoration, and is arguably only an Easter egg in the first place.

Not even after, even on the first kill. Also I'd even be fine if you could socket the Opal in a Cratered Moonrock. That's litearly all it takes for me to be pleased with it.

I just want a new amulet of some kind. Every gem has it's own staff and amulet.

If it's a meteor then why is it so purple?

Yeah, like, they _fall_ into the world of Don't Starve...from the height of their original asteroid.  WHOOPS.  Small design flaw there, might wanna rethink that guys.  : P

Our DST characters usually don't get a chance to see this, however, as whenever possible they aim for the Islands area (Shipwrecked!) of the world in order to make a splashdown landing.  This doesn't actually HELP anything...but we'll let them think it does.

(Although, if Duplicants fall into the Don't Starve world when they feel strave, does that mean that's where the entire crew of Markiplier's Uncomfortable Spaceprison ended up...as charred cinders?  RIP #neverforget)

...Notorious

No, y'see, it's actually lore. When a dupe feels strave they get into the world of Don't Starve, as a meteor.

Could be the composition of the meteorite burning through the atmosphere changing its color. Although I have no idea what would make a purple color when it burns right off the top of my head that could originate from a meteor. RESEARCH TIME!

Update: Well I got Potassium/Potassium Chloride but I don't know what that's doing in a meteor for. And sadly i'm too lazy to keep looking for other options. Well Lithium kind of I guess...ACTUALLY..might be Lithium!
