MrFurphie Posted December 7, 2016 Share Posted December 7, 2016 Can, whoever is in charge of the lore puzzles, @nome @V2C or whoever is, please do all of us Overwatch fans a favor, and professionally notify Blizzard how to PROPERLY, do ARG and puzzle like stuff. Klei Entertainment are the masters of ARG and puzzle lore, Blizzard, tried it out, many found it to be a disaster. Mind you, I only read about it, didn't try to do it myself, so I can't say much, but their ciphers and codes were very well-hidden and hard to crack, truly seemed like a challenge from what I read, and their forum changing thing with Sombra was pretty cool. Endrew Posted December 8, 2016 Share Posted December 8, 2016 Most of the Sombra ARG hate was from the fact that at the end of it was just a boring loading bar, not anything interesting. The puzzles were fine, just the reward was messed up massively. That being said, Klei's ARG stuff was much simpler and interesting than Blizzard's. Klei made you click on all the flowers to get the nest part of the comic or made a Shadow Creature out of coding when you opened it in notepad. Blizzard meanwhile made fans somehow turn a bunch of binary garbage into a QR code, and their reward was basically "get good" in Spanish.
