Second, I like things that are either really rare or things that most people don't like ( I like to play the least played characters in games just because nobody else does it.) The ewelet is the second hardest pet to craft, the rarest being the Broodling. And third, I really like the ewecus. I like the fact that it's so hard to fight, I kinda think it's cute, and most importantly I like the fact that it kicks the hell out of you like some sort of kung fu master. Because they behave like actual dogs (speaking from experience), can glow after being fed a glowberry, look cute all the time. AND NOBODY WANTS THEM (all keep getting kittycoons, broodlings, glomgloms and ewelets), so it makes sense for me to keep one. Wuffles enjoys the company of the new family member. She's called Sally. You know, the only abbreviation for Portable Saliva Dispenser she reacted to. Honestly, the fact they MOVE BETWEEN SHARDS is so awesome I can't begin to express how easy it is to spelunk now in my case. I suppose this means it will be nerfed, but I love my Sally nonetheless ! You have all the steps nicely listed here: http://dontstarve.wikia.com/wiki/Critters Basically, you find the rock den which functions as an ancient pseudoscience station for pets, get the two ingredients necessary to summon a pet and choose one. Just one. You can't have several. And it's regardless of the game mode, you just need the beta branch for this. Hope it helps!
