Michi01 Posted March 18, 2016 Share Posted March 18, 2016 Okay so I only started playing Don't Starve again like two weeks ago. At first I only played shipwrecked but a few days ago I started a new rog world. I think I sort of forgot how to properly fight some bosses because I lost to deerclops even though I had a hambat, two log suits, a football helmet and a walking cane. The hounds made it a lot more difficult though and also I actually eventually figured out again how many times I should hit him but by the time that happened I was out of armor and healing items and he still got me. Feels a bit frustrating with all the preparation considering that I beat him with way worse stuff before. So it seems my failed fire/krampus farm did work eventually(While going there I noticed around the meats that were still laid down, that there's actually a krampus sack there). By then  knew it was really rare (I had 140ish hours at that time) and thought "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU" because it WAS NOT MY WORLD. Muttbutt Posted March 22, 2016 Share Posted March 22, 2016 Yo, I actually just recently lost a world due to dumb mistakes. I had it made, fire farm, honey for days, coffee set up, the works. It was near the end of summer, and I just got done killing dragonfly, what I see as the hardest giant in the game. I noticed afterward I was running out of wood, so I needed to start a new farm, simple enough. So as I lit the pinecones to make sure they all grew in one place, I was too close to the pile and the fire damage killed me. I beat the hardest boss in the game, just to die to pinecones a whole 6 minutes later. I was upset for 2 seconds before I realized the comedy in the whole situation, then I was laughing for about 4 minutes straight. Then again i never really try to get him to spawn nor do i really care about getting the Krampus Sack an normal Backpack is more then enought space for what i need and if i really need that wee bit more well that's what Chester/Packim is for (also they serve as great Hound Decoys).
