Wiffleball remains completely unaware of the crab shenanigans below deck

Wiffleball couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy after having seen Kate and Noctimus getting along so well without him. There was a time when he would've embraced being left alone, but now it just felt...well, lonely. He shook off the feeling, figuring if he was going to be alone, he might as well make the most of it. Walking over to the middle of the ship, he gripped the mast and began climbing upwards. When he reached its top, he carefully made his way onto the sail, then sat down and looked out.

"Why sure, go ahead!" Trevor answered before handing his pole over to Famen.

---

Noctimus squeaked in delight! He would soon reunited with Ma thanks to....hmmm..... Noctimus thought of what he would call Angelle while he waited for her to reach the top.

(Fuzzy Master?)

Angelle dropped Noctimus off at the top next to the giant sail. She sadly could not carry him up there.

"Thanks, hopefully I can catch something good, like that dogfish from awhile ago." Famen said, casting his line over the side of the ship.

Kate resumed her rummaging, and eventually found what she was looking for; a long strip of cloth and a semi-long stick. She tied the fabric over one eye like an eyepatch before putting on her pirate hat and firmly gripping her stick in one hand. She grinned and rushed up the stairs, striking a pose at the top with her "sword".

"AVAST YE!" She shouted, putting on her best pirate accent. "I'm the cap'in of this ship now. Join me crew or I'll make ye walk the plank!" She paused for a moment before turning to Famen. "... Does this ship even have a plank?"

From where he was sitting, Wiffleball couldn't hear anyone below - or, at least, he wasn't really listening. He was more or less just spacing out, watching the waves ripple and roll on the ocean's surface. After all that had happened today, it was kind of nice to be able to just sit and relax.

...

After a while, he became aware of a cold sensation on his shoulders, which seemed to almost be pressing down onto his fabric. Well, now. It'd certainly been a while since he'd felt that. If he was trying to contact him, then it obviously had to be important...why else would he stoop so low as to make conversation with his captor?

"Listen. I've...got some things to tell you." A familiar, raspy voice echoed inside his head.

Meritursas is suddenly overwhelmed by the urge to rip one of his tendrils off, drive a pegleg into the stump, and swim around screaming obscenities interspersed with phrases like "yo ho ho" and "why is the rum always gone".  He manages to resist this deeply rooted primal urge, and avoids flipping the f*ck out.

("Yes Lady Kate! My sword and shield are at your command." Oh wait...wrong RP...)

Famen chuckled. "That's a good idea, captain. I'll get on that right away." He said, getting a huge bite on his line. Famen started reeling in the fishing pole with all his might.

He'd never had a fish that fought this hard before.

What was it going to be?

Famen finally reels in the pole to reveal...

A sardine.
