Viridis lost interest in the coffee when she saw Meritursas. "..." she walked over to him and started studying him carefully. "So this... is what you... fully look like. Interesting. Should I attempt to teach you... how to walk?" She asked.

(GUYS! I just had an idea, but I need feedback. Do you think Kade should be:

1. Entirely a construct of Kate's mind with no actual physical presence at all

2. An empty nightmare fuel husk puppeted and given form by Kate's subconscious

With both options shadow creatures and plushes possessed by shadow creatures can see him, but in the latter option insane people will start to see him as well. Having a sort of physical body will give Kade more options in interaction with those that can see him, as right now he has to avoid touching and being touched as everything will just go right through him. However, with the insane being able to see him, he'll probably be exposed as not real fairly quickly.)

(number 2 could lead to really cool things. For example, the husk that is Kade in Kate's eyes could have a scary form seen from the others. Only Kate sees Kade, the others see the empty nightmare fuel husk as a cloud of darkness. So everyone is scared, but Kate tells them "it's just my brother", and they eventually have to play along and call the thing Kade, and refer to it as Kate's brother.)

(I kinda like this idea, but would everyone be able to see him despite their sanity levels, or just when they're insane? And if sane people can see him, then how would I explain him only being visible now when he's been here this entire time?)

(Just as hallucinations, he would only be visible by insane people. Kate would be the exception)

(then again, this is just an idea)

(I also like #2, considering we've already started down that road with Wiffleball and Noctimus being able to see Kade.)

Famen looked at Wheke. "Oh yeah, I was just looking through the eyes of a Tursai as he lived his final hours wrapped against a rock with his ribcagebrokenasIwasforcedtoexperiencethesamepainhewassufferingwhilemakingfruitlessattemptstoescape. Happens to the best of us." Maybe there was such a thing as too much coffee...?

(Alright, nightmare puppet it is. I think what I'm going to do though, since Wiffleball already sees him that way, is make Kade look like a boy until Kate's sanity starts to go down or she becomes unconscious. Then he deforms into a scary nightmare husk.)

Kade gives a quick nod to the plush and sits down next to Kate. "Hey there little guy..." He pets Noctimus' head with a few fingers while Kate continues to cuddle him in her arms.

Syndir jumped at the question and swung around more rigid than ever. "Who you ask?" He chuckled confidently, before turning his head down slightly and muttered, "Help me out here, will you?"

Hmmm... how about: "I'm insane"?

"I'm insane you see!" Syndir blurted out without thinking, and then shortly after scowling, "Wait what!?"

You're the one who said it, not me...

"I'm just kidding with ya," Syndir laughed weakly. "People will buy that sort of stuff so easily, because of this creepy mask." He pounded his fist against it and followed it up with a quiet chuckle.

...

"Want some coffee?" He offered, extending out his mug.
