Will be different types of DLC planned?

i know the work on the Dlcs didn't started yet, but will be there different types of Dlc programmed, also

like a Dlc adds a  new world to explore and a Dlc adds new weapons and such?

I seriously doubt the DLCs will be organized like that. Most likely, it'll just be like the caves updates (includes a little bit of everything).

Yes, I wouldn't buy a DLC with just cosmetics but one with real content would get my Money.

Do you think they might be releasing some of the unimplemented characters as a part of a dlc? because i dont really understand when they were planning on getting those done if at all seeing as there is about 1 or 2 updates left.

Wait, so instead of additional content to up the replay value and potentially provide a new challenge you would rather only have the clothing of the characters customized? I hope you're just acting like your name good sir..!

 

Besides, DS isn't using a f2p model like let's say an mmorpg or Plants vs Zombies 2 where you can get additional features by paying money. Therefore there can't really be a pay2win situation in Don't Starve. If you're not buying the dlc you simply miss out on additional content, that isn't required nor gives a great advantage in the existing game.

Yeah, you're right. But then again there will always be people who dislike a particular way of dlc content( and dlc itself)... I'll hope Klei will never succumb to those kinda people.

That's not what P2W means. We also can judge it based on Klei's previous DLCs.

If people are incompetent enough at the game, then see some people using exclusive DLC items that have some merit for use compared to default items, they might see it as unfair. It might also hinder growth of the game beyond that point because people see it as "immoral," but hey, that's where mods come in. That's all I'm saying.

Yeah. Most of the updates have been adding stuff only accessible from beating the ruins.hopefully they add stuff accessible from day 1-10 of in-game play.

the world event threads stuff, which one is that?

 

the apocalyptic one... NO

the one with just large ideas and such, sure some of those are decent

 

I do hope theres no more ruins stuff in the DLC's as its getting tiring in my opinion
