It appears the creature latches onto Bunnymen, Rock Lobsters or even Spiders. Happened to me offscreen. I was walking, minding my own business, then a cabal of bunnymen and spiders with masks approach me. They talk ominous lines, all at the same, with purple text. The mobs' behaviour changes as well. They all try to kite you, and attack one at a time while the others hang back and keep yapping about non-existence, a lack of pain, the underneath of a veil, unity and such. If you kill the mob the masque disappears with it, dropping the mob's loot along with one Pure Horror.

Either way, I am absolutely thrilled about Metheus' first apperance and am glad the common theory of Charlie being possesed by Metheus is fully confirmed (even though we all knew that that was the case)

Making another head slot mob, 1st slurper, that change how mobs behave is a genius move

The Pall play thoughts

Skimming through the text file briefly, I deducted that the darkness was introduced to the ancients by some other alien civilization that was already converted? On how many layers of 'ancient aliens' can we get on? Which makes me think about how darkness spreads through the worlds unknown and unseen to us (The Silver Key anyone? Well, general lovecraftian trope). And how Wormwood refers to Toady as "Friend?", like plant civilization or something akin to Wormwood or tied to alter? It's also curious to me how it was referred to as "The pall" just this big, dark cloud.

Lots of questions which my rattly brain at the moment cannot connect properly. And I shall wait for someone to do it for me :]
