Seems like it deals 4 separate instances of 20 normal + 20 planar, which means it deals 160 total damage, enough to one shot most players. That really sucks, especially since you are likely walking with an enlightened crown and that basically puts you at a constant risk to get one shot. Might be worth toning down the numbers to ~100 or so to avoid instant kills for most.

Just found out they spawn in groups of like 5-10 ever 1-2 seconds or so.

They really need differing designs, they're all the same sprite pasted next to each other!

I just watched the Disney movie the princess and the frog last night for the first time EVER (it’s been out since the 2000’s yet I never bothered watching it)

Anyway, to keep it short and simple the Shadow Man in that movie was able to manipulate the shadows to do all sorts of cool tricks.

They are SHADOWS, they should be able to phase through walls, float over water, the whole nine yards, unless this particular shadow is scared of water.. lol.

And it the very least, it should be intelligent enough to board onto your boat (meaning you can paddle it far enough away it can’t board)

In the image shown above, it’s just lazy game design that hounds know how to board your boat, spiders know how to board your boat, but this creepy looking thing just stands on the shore like it’ll get boat sickness.

Quick Question, if the length of tiles we can expand bridges to has increased to twice its radius, will the recently reduced crafting cost be reversed back to normal?

you can still go through those without getting into 1 of them though

And in Usual Klei fashion…. They add a Brand new mob with a new type of challenge that is ridiculously overturned in how much damage it deals to the player, locked this mob behind LATE GAME Shadow Rifts, While giving us a Braindead EARLY GAME Solution…

Now unless Klei wants to let these things spit hounds teeth to destroy nearby bridges placed near them, Houston, We have a Problem.

You going to walk around with stacks of bridge kits just in case this happens to you?

It would be a huge inconsistency for the developers to balance Gloomerang and Shadow Maul and at the same time continue to allow the imbalance in obtaining Shadow Atrium (which is a requirement for some of the items in this update). So I believe they will fix the exploit in this beta.

What about players that kill FW every 30 days or so? Not everything needs to be balanced as you like it when it doesn't have any impact on your playstyle. Who is forcing you to kill 50-150 shadow pieces at once?

If this gets patched FW after rifts are turned on needs to drop shadow atrium on death.

This is gonna be so annoying but i love it.

I love it when devs listen to feedback. This patch is so good.

Playing Wanda has been a constant death train ever since the rifts got introduced. I hope her still tree will make her playable again.
