dzzydzzy Posted November 24, 2023 Share Posted November 24, 2023 Maybe I am biased, but I feel like I see nothing but universal love for Wormwood as a fan favorite in the game. In terms of fan art, long-term players I encounter on servers, and plenty of avatar pics on the forum, Wormwood is undeniably a well-loved character. What I find disappointing is the lack of merch from Klei that features Wormwood and other well-loved characters. Seeing the "Krampus sale" for the Klei merch shop, I thought I'd definitely find something I'd be interested in purchasing only to see a lack of plant-based representation. So I ask my fellow DST fanatics, what merch would you like to see added? For me, I'd love new poster designs, maybe a made-to-order deal with all character skin portraits as posters. Maybe enamel pins of all characters. I also would love a koalephant plushie. I'm pretty sure JoeW even said they had tried, actually! Something about designers and employee's going missing stopped them from being shipped out, though... wonder what that's about. That aside, I'd love genuine Bernie/Ashley plush replicas. And Willow's lighter, too! (What? I'm not biased.) Both unripe and ripe variants (don't do the "turn it inside out" thing, the stitching on those tear way too easily) . Kittykit plush would melt my heart. While it isn't from DST it is from ONI; I would murder for a plush Slickster. I also love the Winter Hats (I have version 1 and Black version 2) so more hats? Don't know about that one though, most of the hats don't seem practical to make and wear outside of the Winter Hats... They struck gold the first time around. Edited Additions: Carrats would be so cute. I'll keep thinking and tack on more plushies. Hope Klei eventually finds a vendor here or through some Chinese sources to sell their plush products and all cause I love their well designed merch. Little sculpture figurines that could work as more decorative than only presenting as a DST-merch thing. Some kind of artistic similarity while keeping the boundary between the game and some level of proper decor we could actually purchase. I'd love a lunar moth glass figure or a bee queen one as a small statuette in stained glass you could put next to your house plants or anything related for home decor. I do like the little figures and new furniture skins in the game like the tree birdies for the Art? item. Something very homey to keep. THEY HAVE TURNED ME INTO A MARKETABLE PLUSHIE, METHEUS!!! And I saw a thought of a "real" Codex Umbra (How much of it is real? Wouldn't you like to know-) . Which would be cool if it had some in-universe titbits. Maybe even a real scrapbook, like an encyclopedia of sorts, it'd be pretty handy. The last thing - as much as current pins are fine, in-game sprites and all of that, I'd love to see some special art for them.
