The art and concept were great but it seemed to lack the depth I was hoping for when I got it. Interested to see what the cross over will entail. I can't stand the game much myself but I loved what the DST devs did with their side of the content. I'm hoping there's something for everyone even if they're not big on the game this time around! When I heard that DST would be doing a Crossover with Terraria I actual downloaded & tried to play Terraria for NO Other reason but to experience DST content in another game outside of DST because I thought Pixel Clops looked Hella Cute. But the longer I played Terraria, the more and more I just ended up hating it.. sure it may be a great game to SOME or maybe lots of people, thing is it just wasn’t MY type of game. However the content we got in DST based off Terraria fits extremely well into the DS atmosphere (I’ve even managed to use the Terrarium like a pokeball to throw out the boss monster to send to attack other bosses) I really enjoy alot of the content Terraria brought to DST, from skins, to the boss fight, to the Eyemask & Pet Den critter I loved all of it.. But I did not end up loving Terraria when I tried to play it. And that’s perfectly fine.. because the only concern I truly had was would I love the content Terraria brought into DST.. and the answer to that was a resounding YES! Nowdays my Alchemy Engine can never be seen without the Mad Science Lab skin from Terraria.. and while part of me is highly disappointed Wilson didn’t get something similar in his Rework with science beaker, chemical experimentation all that sort of stuff, at least I have a skin that lets me pretend like he does. Eye of Terror is also one of my favorite boss fights, it’s not too hard, doesn’t have bajillion Health like most bosses do, and the reward for killing it is a Football helmet that can be repaired by just feeding it rot or red caps. Its one of the BEST updates DST ever got.. However when it comes to Cult of the Lamb, I’ve never played that game and until the other day, I’d never even heard of it.. but watching videos & screenshots clearly shows that it has a much creepier atmosphere than DST has.. I mean just look at some of this!! Hey… Wait a Minute!!! Thats no coincidence, these games have been pulling the “Wool” over our eyes for years… this Crossover was likely planned THAT Far back.. Yikes, I really do need to pay more attention to stuff. Now I’m Hella Hyped for whatever CoTL Crossover might bring to DST! "Massive Monster" does not exist. It is a shell company of Klei's to release Cult of the Lamb in secret. They added that skin 3 years before the game released to tease their upcoming secret game that they aren't associating themselves with. But I see through their clever disguise.
