Bronzebot Posted September 10, 2022 Share Posted September 10, 2022 Recently when looking through the Hallowed Nights skin collection of all survivors, Wickerbottom's "Bewitched" skin stood out to me more than usual and I couldn't quite put my finger on what was so special about it. It is quite a detailed skin, to say the least, and it has very appealing colors combined with the theme of spiders & cobwebs. Then it dawned on me. A minor detail that sets this skin apart from all of her other skins. Wickerbottom's Bewitched skin actually has Sunken Cheeks, much like how she's depicted in several portraits, animated shorts, vignettes and of course, the title screen animation. Out of curiosity, I wanted to know how sunken cheeks would look on her other skins, so I cobbled together a few images with comparisons to the original and their respective portrait and well... Spoiler ...while slightly jarring, I must admit that the effect works surprisingly well with some of them and it makes you wonder why this facial feature was limited to her Hallowed Nights skin only. Perhaps it simply becomes too many details when combined with her skins featuring glasses? I'm not necessarily asking for this to be implemented (not with how long her appearance already have been established) but I am curious as to what you think. Is this a better look for Wickerbottom? I know you only made some quick edits on the images, but it's worth mentioning that the shape of the head also needs to be adjusted if cheeks were to be implemented. Especially the default and the third skins otherwise look like someone double slapped Wickerbottom on the cheeks. On her victorian skin looks great, like I would ask to implement them here.
