If the survivors of the constant were pokemon trainers...

Recommended Posts

What types do you think they would mainly use?

I got curious about this after playing alot of Pokemon HeartGold randomizer as of late(As a means of overcoming childhood trauma).

If the survivors of the constant were pokemon trainers, what types do you think they'd use the most?
This is what came to mind for me, I couldn't think of any for some of the survivors.

Wilson: Normal types
Willow: Fire types
Wolfgang: Fighting types
Wendy: Ghost types
WX78: Steel types?
Wickerbottom: Psychic types?
Maxwell: Dark types
Winona: Electric types(Was thinking Electric/Steel, like Magnemite for example)
Wurt: Water types?
Webber: Bug types?

Discuss!

Absols, umbreons, sableyes, pawniards, sandiles...

A lot of dark type pokemons are just carnivores

And most of them are organic

"Useful" organic if the pokemon are useful WX-78 would treat them as slaves, and the pokemon you list are pre-evol form or pokemon that design to look dark but is actually good.

Makes sense

I'm too lazy to list the whole lines. The evolutions are still not meanies.

I think that the idea of a trainer that isn't a gym leader having all pokemons sharing a type is silly anyway.

Bisharp

"This pitiless Pokémon commands a group of Pawniard to hound prey into immobility. It then moves in to finish the prey off"

"It’s accompanied by a large retinue of Pawniard. Bisharp keeps a keen eye on its minions, ensuring none of them even think of double-crossing it"

Krookodile

"Very violent Pokémon, they try to clamp down on anything that moves in front of their eyes"

"This Pokémon is known as the Bully of the Sands. Krookodile's mighty jaws can bite through heavy plates of iron with almost no effort at all"

Absols

Ngl “the disaster pokemon” seems pretty evil I think

also even if they aren’t like supervillain levels of evil most dark type Pokémon definitely have an evil-ish aesthetic, like how sableye definitely looks like a little evil gremlin (and is also portrayed as evil pretty consistently)

Psychic definitely is the right fit for Wickerbottom but i could also see her just exclusively collecting all the cat pokemon no matter the element

Wormwood obviously would be predominantly a grass trainer. I think he would like tangela in particular cuz its also made out of vines and peculiar like him . He’d also be drawn to Lunatone i imagine for obvious reasons.

How about everything in the constant can be caught as pokemon who would they catch then? Tallbirds, deerclops (wait no he a legendary), etc...

Wickerbottom would catch all the kitcoons and have them on her team, maybe one of her slots being a kitcoon, another being a catcoon and another being a ticoon (for variety)
