Oh heck. Better go in and rush every boss before they nerf this to the ground.

Lol, i was laughing while reading the thread let alone your comment, thinking the whole time players could simply not use the method described here. Just because a powerful or even overpowered aspect exists in a game doesn't mean you have to use it. Simply set your own personal level of difficulty/ethics and stick to them, tends to work just as well as having developers go back over their code and rebalance everything.

Huhhhh. I actually used Warly (same dmg as Wilson) and I hit dragonfly. I was doing 188. For some reason. I could recheck.

dragonfly wetness drops with time same as players, which gives reduced damage. This is the only mob the does this, all the rest have on/off wet prefix with full damage as shown here by the amazing @lakhnish

Instead of getting rid of the jelly, why not just change what it does? For example, right now it is almost an necessity for boss fights (especially as our favorite chunk of human muscle..) giving an unbeatable damage bonus, ESPECIALLY when combined with chili powder; those combined make fights get cut in half easily. Instead of a straight dmg buff, why not make it perform a different effect entirely such as electrifying the player? Making attacks against the player electrocute attackers, resetting their attack period 2-fold; or rather just dealing area electrical damage point blank. The point is, if it truly is as badly balanced as some claim, I would almost recommend a different effect entirely (even if my previous suggestion sucks monkey balls).

Wolf+garlic jellybeans+spicy volt jelly+dark swords+thul armor.

Remember all those times something in the constant killed you and it felt unfair? Now its the time the constant pays for that.

Now the game is...

Fun

I've said this in other posts ; just make an enemy or biome that reverses percentage buffs. So if you abuse warlys food in that instance you actually nerf yourself.

New content should always make current content easier. So just make harder/ smarter enemies.
